ALEX'S POV
**DAY 1**
"Good Day, Mr. Holinberg." I greeted.
"Hi, Alex. Did you came for Ms. Eli?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"Nice car."
"Thanks!" I smiled to the old man.
Monday came up with wet streets. Season of snow is now coming. People are walking with their completely cold attire. I decided to pick up Eli, since I think it was my cue to start being one of her close friends, must be.
Waiting in their garden made me think of what her father said to me.
"I will help you pay for your mom's bills if you also help me do something for my daughter. Please, Alex. I know there's a thing in you that will change her for a better Eli." Her father pleaded.
First thing that comes to my mind, is 'Why would I help her, she's a stranger at the first place, I don't even know her and her family, where she came from.' But it's for my mom, that why I decided to go.
After a few minutes, Eli decided to show up, all ready in her uniform and the face that people Won't like on a girl. Day 1 with for annoying the brat.
"Hey Eli!" I called up.
She seems surprised to see me.
"Why the hell are you here?"
Cold.
"Aren't you supposed to greet me first?" I asked.
"I don't know what greeting is." No expression.
She walked to their black car without looking back. I stopped her holding her arm.
"LET GO!!! Can you go the hell out of my freaking house!" She almost yelled, shrugging her arms.
"From now on, you're going to school with me."
"Are you kidding? There's no way I'm going to school with you, bastard."
"Are you going to walk to my car, or I'm gonna carry you like a sack of rice? Which one?"
We ended up arguing while I'm carrying her on my shoulders. She keeps on screaming, but no one practically comes out of the house.
I got her inside my car, well it isn't actually mine, I burrowed it from Mrs. Peblesy, my old neighbor. It is her son's car, but since her son was in Australia, she lent me it. It was a white Audi.
"Where did you smuggled this car?" She asked.
"From the corner street beside a new opened pizza house. Why?" I smiled sarcastically.
"I better get you to jail." She quickly finds her phone.
"Sure."
She ended up screaming like shit which I didn't mind at all.
"UUUUGHH!!!! You freaking Alex!!! It's embarrassing you know!!!" She yells.
"You called for it." I laugh inside of me, seeing her reacting. "You're gullible."
"What!!" She rolled her eyes. "Did I tell you to pick me up? I can go to school, myself."
"You have nothing to do with it."
She didn't answer instead she just open the radio.
"I know how to open this so don't look at me." She said.
"Who said I'm looking to you? I'm looking at the side mirror.
"Jerk!"
The whole ride went straight and quiet. We got to school exactly on time, I parked as I saw her friend waiting for her which I don't really think so, cause the girl is smiling at me.
