9: Day 4 - Gain Trust

ELI'S POV

"Eli! Nice acting, I love it!" Clarence, our gay director cheered.

"Of course, I would dream to be an actress someday, a very best actress in the world!" I smirked.

"Dream granted." Direct said and bowed.

I glanced at my phone, and saw Alex's 3 missed calls. I'm quite flattered, he still intend to wait for me even though the practice is so long.

"Look, I really have to go, someone's waiting for me, so bye!"

"Who's that someone? Do I know him? Is he your boyfriend?" Director Clarence missed a look.

What a very intrigant director. Why can't he mind his own business.

"My friend, actually." I fake a smile.

"His boyfriend next door, actually." Cassie gave me my things.

Sir just laughed a bit and bidded his goodbye to us.

Walking to the hallway, I'm so excited to go home, because I'm too tired, and I also want to see Alex and tell him sorry for keeping him waiting for me.

"Huh!" I covered my mouth, as I figured something happening.

What the hell are they doing!! Seeing Alex hugging a girl got on my nerves. I feel like I want to explode and scratch the girl's beautiful face.

Okay, times up! Changes my mood. I changed my mind. I told you Eli, this feeling has nothing to do with you. That boy is just fooling you with his hearty combacks. But actually, he's doing it to every beautiful girl met.

I slightly combed my hair with my fingers and walked to the opposite exit. Where am I going? Gods, I really lost my mind. My phone? Right! My phone.
I quickly dialled Mr. Holinberg's contact.

"Yes, come to the school now, just stay outside the school." I hang up.

I didn't went to the entrance, instead I walked to where the school's staffs are exiting. Thank Gods, I quickly recognized the 2 black cars. Yes! I can finally go home. I catch a quick text to Alex.

'I'm on my way home now, I didn't see your car in the parking.'

Ugh! Why do I feel like I'm being fooled. Maybe if I just sleep this, I can forget what I see.

***DAY 4***

"Morning, sweetheart." Dad greeted me, reading the newspaper.

"Did Alex delivered the mails?"

"Yup. He's looking for you but I said you're already sleeping."

I walked to the sofa and fixed my blazer and tie. Well, what would I expect yesterday, of course he would, see in the house. There again, can you clear your mind today? No Alex for today.

Lesson learn Eli. The boy is just making fun to you, just ignore him. Yeah, care to hold feelings before it goes deeper. He said he likes you. He likes to fool you. He likes you to fall for his charms.

"Hey, you're not going with Alex?"

"No."

"Did you have a misunderstanding?"

"No."

"What happ----"

"Look, I have to go, I'll be late for school."

Walking passed the livingroom, I opened the door and I see Alex. We're very close to each other, like just an inch difference.

"Out of my way." I ordered him.

"No, you. Get out of my way now."

"I'm not in the mood to play with you."

"I'm not playing. I'm serious."

"I don't care." I pushed his hardrock body.

"Did I tell you to ruin my uniform?" He asked.

"It's not my uniform anyway?" I said.

"Will you stop that attitude!"

"Wow! As if you have a perfect attitude! Don't teach me, I can fix my own self!"

"Since I became your friend, I became obliged to change you, to an Elegant, Respectful Rosewoods."

"You're not my friend, you're just there for the money. How much? Tell me!"

"Money can't buy friends. Money can't buy happiness. Money can't buy You, Eli. I'm here to be your friend. I will always stand beside you. You can trust me, Eli."

Hearing his words made me want to cry. How can I trust someone doing something I barely know behind me. It's hard to give your trust to the person you just knew like last week.

"You can have------"

I was out of my words when he developed me into a warm hug.

"I will wait for your trust." He said.

I closed my eyes feeling the coldness of the air. Untill I opened it again, I was already inside his car, actually it was like an old car.

"Your car looks unfamiliar."

"Sorry. This is my grandfather's old car. But he took care of it that's why it doesn't look so old."

"Eli!!" Alex called up to lighten up the mood.

"Don't shout! I'm just beside you."

"Let's go to mall!"

"We have school."

"Let's skip." He's smirking.

"But how about our reports?"

"Nah! We can do it next week."

Hours after when we went out of the car, I see the open area mall. It's a little bit of unique cause it has waters on the sides. Like the mall is floating in the ocean.

"Eli! Look out!" He screamed.

Then I saw myself get wet, because the water in appearing upwards.

"Hey you! Come back here! I'm not yet done to you!"

"Yes Eli, you're not yet done to me cause we're just about to start."

I pulled him to the center and he also get wet himself. I laughed loudly. Then I noticed myself, I touched my cheeks, I'm smiling, my heart is melting.

"Friends?" He extended his hands.

"Friends." I put my hand on his.

It took a minute looking at his grey orbs. Until the water went upwards again, I pushed Alex so he can get wet as I am. We're laughing while playing the waters while stepping on the circle where the water will came out.

"Wait, wait." He said.

"What? Are you okay?"

"You're concern!!! Finally, I told you you like me!"

"What the hell."

"Let me have your phone."

"We will take a picture of our first day of being..Friends." He smirked.

"Whatever!"

"We will make a lot of memories, Eli, memories that will last forever." He smiled to me.
