ELI'S POV
"Cup of hot chocolate for two, please."
I ordered to the waiter.
Alex and I are sitting inside the Café Americano, waiting for Blake. It's not that bad to give a chance to talk to someone like Blake, right? So, I agreed.
"Blake will be here at any minute." I called Alex's attention, who's busy looking around the Café.
"It's my first time to go here."
"Ugh! I've already know that."
Arguing with Alex made fun of the night while waiting for Blake, a few more minutes later, he'd shown up, on his, Oh well, not so nice faded jeans.
"Oh! We have comp---------Alex?" Blake said.
"Blake. I didn't know you're the guy she's talking about." Alex said.
"Eli, you forgot to inform me, that you're with Alex." Blake talked to me.
"Surprise. You want a surprise, right?"
"Are you giving me back the things I've done to you? Coffee please!"
"Of course not! Why would I do that? I'm not like you, Blake. Grow some balls, dude!"
"What did you say?!?! And he? Why is he here? I called you so we can fix what we lost!"
"Hey man chill, people are staring." Alex countered.
"Hey you! You don't have a thing here! They don't give a shit on us!" Blake fired.
"How many times do I have to tell you, you can't fix something you broke, the way it was. So f***ed up."
"Ugh! Eli! What do I have to do?!?! Please give me a chance."
"Blake, I can't bring back my feelings for you. That's it! To make things short."
"Give me a reason why do we have to go this way?"
"Because everything is over between us."
"You're really not saying that!"
"I am. Why can't you just accept it? It's too late for you to realize everything in the past. I remember you said, I don't have any regrets here so go."
"I was just fooling around when I said that!"
"Sorry but I don't think of that. You were serious."
"Eli, plea-----"
"Blake, enough. I know you can't take this if you would still continue with your words, man." Alex talked to Blake.
"Why Alex? Are you her new boyfriend? Is it Eli?" Blake asked me.
"Yes." Alex said.
"Wrong answer man, it should be, no."
"I said Yes."
"Do you know me? I'm sure you know me, especially the things, I can do to anybody." Blake boasted.
"Stop it! You're not kids anymore!" I yelled.
Blake stood up and walked next to my chair.
"Listen, I'm not going to stop just right here Eli. Just see what I can do." Blake said.
"If anything would happen to Alex, you'll face your worst nightmare. You know me, I can do anything I want." I stood up.
He walked out of the Cafè fastly with the people looking to him. It was kind of embarrassing but fortunately Alex is here to control everything happening before it gets worst. If it would've been to Alex, maybe Blake and I would be in chaos now.
"You okay? Sorry I said that. I think that's the thing I can do. You can tell him the tru---." Alex said.
"No, that's fine. Let him find out himself."
Silence filled the air until we arrived at Eli's house.
"Thanks." Eli said, then walked to her house, then their butler waved to me.

ALEX'S POV
***DAY 7***
I woke up at dawn when I heard someone vomiting in the bathroom, it was my mom.
"Mom!! What happened?" I hurried to her.
"No, it's nothing. I'm fine." She wiped her face with her hands. She's trembling, I can say.
I helped her put into bed and find her box of medicine. I was out of my mind, that I don't know what to do next. Until I found her medicine kit, it was already empty. It took me a second looking at it.
"Sorry I didn't say it, I don't want you to get worried, so I chose to stay quiet." Mom said.
"You should've said it, mom. I don't know what to do when I lose you."
I rushed to my room and checked my Money Can. I can see, it's not enough to buy at least packs of medicine. So, I gathered it all and went to the drugstore.
"Wait mom, I'll buy your medicine." I kissed mom's cheek.
"Take care, son." She coughed.
It doesn't take a thirty minutes buying my mom's medicine. When I went back, I feel the newness in the air, like I've been to my childhood. It was like a flashback to me because of the fresh air and peaceful environment.
"Mom!!!!!!!!!" I rushed to the floor where mom is lying, I cried.
I hugged mom tightly and called 911. I can't think, all I want is to hear mom's voice. I can't take this! Heaviness felt my heart as I saw saw mom getting so unconscious.
"Mom, please don't leave me like this. God knows you still have a work to do in my life." I cried until I can't feel my face.
I sat outside the CCU, waiting for the doctor. My hands is all over my face, crying. Why do I have to undergo this challenge? Isn't it enough that we're not as rich as my friends are. Isn't it enough that I have to undergo boy's bullying because of my standing in life.
I feel numb already. My mind keeps on thinking what will happen if mom will suddenly pass away. I'm not saying, I can't stand at my age, but. I love my mom, the person I used to live my whole life with.
"Mr. Alex McClauren?" Doctor Johnson called me.
"Sir?"
"You're the patient's son. I just want you to know that, your mom is in unconscious stage, the medicine is harming her affecting vital organs. You should have brought her here earlier, good thing before she passed."
"I didn't know what's happening on her. She said she has monthly check ups."
"All I can say is we just have to wait for her to wake up and get conscious as well. We might need to check her 24/7, to get an improvement on her. At this hour, all we can do is to wait for the sign."
"Thank you, Doctor Johnson. Please do whatever it takes to bring my mom back."
"Of course, Alex. I will." He reassured me.
