The Tour

'Wake up green bean, breakfast is ready', a strong British accent said, I knew who I was. I opened my eyes to see Newt hovering over me, with a huge smile on his face. 'Come on hurry up or all the food will be gone, and you need to have food, you have along day today' he continued, I rolled my eyes and pushed my self of the bed. He grabbed my arm and dragged me to get breakfast.

'Hey I'm Frypan' Frypan gave me a little smile and handed me some bacon and eggs, 'thank you Frypan' I waved him goodbye and walked to the table Newt and Thomas were at, near a tree.
'Hey greenie' a young boy said, waving at me, he looked 12 or 13 years old and he was quite chubby. I don't remember seeing him around yesterday, I smiled, 'I'm chuck, what's your name?' I saw Thomas hit him on the arm and little bit, 'ouch what was that for' he turned around facing Thomas now, I giggled a wee bit, then spoke up, 'I don't remember my name yet, but when I do you'll be the first to know, okay?' I gave him a smirk, he nodded and smiled back. 

'Come on Thomas it's time to go' I looked up from my plate and saw a boy who looks sort of Asian, grab on to Thomas's shoulder, 'okay, just coming Minho' he stood up from his chair, waved us goodbye and run off behind the guy, Minho.

Newt's POV

I saw that the greenie was finished her breakfast, 'you ready for that your now greenbean?' I asked her while standing up, she nodded and then stood up beside me, 'yeah, let's go' I know the glade of by heart since I'm second in command, and I have to know the glade really well just in case Alby is know where to be seen just like he has been these last past days. The girl walked right beside me and never left my sight.

I took her to the gardens first, 'this is the Gardens were the crops are grown and watered daily since there is never rain here in the Glade' she just nodded, admiring the crops which are nearly ready to be picked, I gestured her to the next place, 'this is the Homestead where everyone sleeps as you should know by now, and also behind there is the slammer for graders who need to go to jail for a while' I pointed over to where the slammer was, she looked at me confused, 'you send people to jail here?' She looked cute when she was confused, 'yeah we do but only if they have done something really bad' I walked over to the South East of the Glade and she followed behind, 'and this is the BloodHouse, where all the livestock are raised and also slaughtered' she smiled and then looked over at me with disgusted, probably because of the slaughtered part, I rubbed the back of my neck in awkwardness, I then pointed over to the woods opposite the BloodHouse, 'and that greenbean, over there is the DeadHeads a small forest area, there are also some gravestones'

We walked over to the centre of the Glade where the metal box was, 'that's the box I came up in, isn't it?' She asked me, 'yeah... Every month a new greenie comes up with supplies' we went back over to the table we had breakfast on, so I could explain the rules to her. 'Now the rules are simple greenbean, 1. Everyone does their part, no slackers.. 2, never hurt another Glader, you have to trust each other and 3, never go outside the Glade unless you're a runner'.

Sophie's POV

Newt was explaining all the rules to me, I was pretty surprised that there was only 3 rules, wait a minute what's a runner? 'What's a runner?' I asked Newt, 'a runner is a person who goes outside the glade and tries to find a way out of this place, but it's dangerous out there in the maze, so please do not ever go outside of these walls' he gave me a worried, scared look, I just nodded in agreement. I really want to know what was out there. 'I got to go, I'll see you later' Newt waved goodbye and gave me a smile, I did the same. I was looking around then something caught my eye, the doors, I stood up and walked towards them. 'Hey greenie, want to here a story' I turned around to see chuck, cuffed with himself, he seemed to look happy all the time. 'Not right now chuck, maybe later' I suggested and started walking towards the doors again, 'hey where are you going?' I just ignored him and kept walking 'hey greenie...hey you can't go near there' he continued, he's going to bug me until I answer him isn't he? 'I'm just checking it out Chuck, don't worry'  I stood 2 feet away from the door into the maze, It seemed dark and lonely, even in the middle of the day.

I stepped closer and closer to the door when I heard someone running up beside me, I turned my head to see who it was, until I felt myself go flying in the air, and landed hard on the ground. 'What do you think you are doing' I looked up to see Gally standing there with his arms crossed, I jumped up off the ground 'what the hell was that for? You can just go round pushing people to the floor you shank' I started going mental at him, 'wow calm down greenie' Gally said, raising his hands in the air like he was surrendering. 'Why would I stay calm, you just pushed me to the floor, you do remember I'm a girl right, don't you?' I was still having a go at him, 'easy Greenbean, just calm down' i heard the British accent, Newt. I looked over at him, 'why am I not allowed out there, why is it only runners who are allowed out there?' I asked, a little more calmly, 'I have already told you, it's dangerous out there' Newt walked slowly towards me trying to make me understand, he put his hand on my shoulder, 'please.. promise me you will never go on the other side of that wall, do you promise?' Newt said looking straight into my eyes, 'I promise' I was calm now, but I was still pissed off with Gally for pushing me, I walked off to the DeadHeads, giving Gally a disgusted look.
