Bonfire Party

After a while talking to Newt, we both eventually came down from the tree because he wanted too see Thomas before the bonfire tonight. Apparently they always have a party when a new greenie arrives, which sounds pretty fun to me.

I saw Thomas standing beside one of the trees, he noticed us and came jogging over. 'So you liking the glade greenie?' Thomas asked me with a big smile on his face, 'I haven't really seen it and it's only my first day, but I think that I'm gonna have to teach some of you boys to stay away from me, since I am the only girl' I joked, we all started laughing at what I just said. It is true because all the boys will annoy me cause I'm a boy so I should show them that I'm just like the guys.

'I'll be touring you around the glade tomorrow because I don't know where Alby is, and he's supposed to tour the greenie around' Newt stopped walking to face me and smiled, I nodded and smiled back, I liked being around Newt, he's so nice and cute.

I saw the bonfire being lit, I didn't really fit, some of the boys kept giving me dirty looks, like I don't belong there, and I don't because they're all boys and I'm just a girl. I walked away and sat beside a falling tree trunk, looking towards one of the walls around the glade. 'Is that a door' I thought to myself, I thought I would go check it out and see if I was right. When I got closer to the wall I noticed that it was a door but it was closed, I was right. I stood right in front of the door, and looked at how tall it was.
I felt a hand touch my shoulder, I jumped around in fright, too see that it was only Thomas, I took a deep breath in relief. 'Your curious huh? I was curious about this door too when I first came here' he said while staring at the door and glancing over, waiting for my reply. 'How long have you been here for?' I asked him, I was wanting to ask him so much more questions but I didn't want to annoy him with them all, I'd eventually find everything out soon. He looked over at me with no emotion, 'two months'. Wow! He's only been here two months, I thought he has been here for ages by the looks of it. 'Come on we better get back to that bonfire, the party is for you so you need to attend to your own party' he laughed and put his arm around my shoulders, I didn't bother moving his arm I just walked beside him, I know I like Newt but Thomas is a really nice guy as well and seems like he would be an amazing friend.

I went flying down to the floor, someone fell into me from the fighting arena, 'ouch' I hit my hip of the floor causing me to feel pain, Newt came over and helped me up off the ground. 'Hey greenie, it's your turn' I turned around to see Gally pointing towards me, he wanted to fight me, 'let's see what your made of huh greenie?' He said again but in a joking tone this time, I rolled up my sleeves and walked closer towards him, 'bring it'.

Thomas's POV

'Bring it' oh no what is she doing, she's going to get herself killed, she will never beat him. I don't know if I should stop her or let her beat him up, she might get pissed if I try to stop her from something she wants to do, I know what girls are like, especially her since she was throwing rocks at us earlier. Gally threw a punch at her, but she dodged it, he threw another one and just clipped her chin, I felt a grip on my arm coming from Newt. I looked over at him, he looked so worried. He threw another punch and she went flying around the ground, she has to give up now or she will just get herself hurt. I saw her look up at me and Newt and smiled, her smile made us both relax a bit because she looked okay. Gally started storming towards her, she spun around tripping up Gally, then the most coolest thing ever happened, she done a flip and full pelt punched Gally in the face twice. This girl is amazing, I wonder where she learnt how to do that flip. She won.

Sophie's POV

I won, I can't believe it. Where did I learn how to do a flip? What the hell, Newt and Thomas came running to me and hugged me so tight I could hardly breath.  'I'm glad your okay' Newt whispered in my ear, everyone started cheering, 'Greenie,Greenie,Greenie,Greenie'.
No one has ever managed to beat Gally at fighting, someone handed me and jug with some sort of juice in it, it was horrible but I guess it's the only thing to drink here so I would have to get used to the taste.

The rest of the night was amazing, telling jokes and stories to each other. The boys started singing a song they made up and were dancing around like idiots, Thomas looked so stupid up there dancing. I looked over to Newt and gave him a massive smile, I grabbed him by the hands and made him dance with me since we were the only two who weren't dancing. It was the best night ever! I loved it!
