Alby's Awake

I woke up to find Newt on top of me, we must have rolled over during our sleep, 'Newt wake up' I whispered in his ear, he moaned and rolled off me.
He wrapped is arm around my waist, 'morning greenbean' he mumbled, his sleepy voice was so bloody sexy it could turn you on like a flashlight.

'Morning newt' I said poking his cheek and scrunching up my nose, he giggled. We heard that everyone was already awake, I could smell bacon causing my stomach to rumble. 'Someone's hungry' Newt whispered in my ear, I could feel his breath on the side of my face, his accent made me tingle inside, he's so hot that it's unbelievable.

I giggled, 'of course I'm hungry' we both laughed for while, he stood up and helped me once he was up.

I moved back and tripped on a stone, pulling him down with me, I winded myself as I hit the ground. 'Ouch' I moaned, 'are you okay' Newt said, moving my hair out of my face so I could see him, he was still on top off me. I'm always bloody falling, 'yeah I'm fine'.

He leaned in about to kiss me, 'hey love birds' someone said, trying to get to a point, we turned our heads to see Thomas standing there, 'Alby, he's awake' he said taken deep breaths. We both got up, Newt looked like he was about to faint, we all ran out the Deadhead following Thomas, Jesus Thomas is fast.

'Alby?' Newt said kneeling down in front of him, 'are you okay Alby?' Newt continued getting a little worried.

I knelt down next to Newt, 'Alby?' I looked at him, he didn't move at all. 'I remember' he finally spoke up, 'you remember what?' Thomas said also kneeling down in front of him. 'Everything... You, Teresa and Sophie, watching me.. Drowning' he stopped everyone including Gally stared at us, 'what do you mean?' Teresa whispered but loud enough to be heard. 'You's shouldn't be here, you were there favourite, you shouldn't be here' his head was in his hands, pulling the top of his head, since he was bold and had no hair to tug at.

Gally seemed so pissed, but he always looked like that. We all left the room to give Alby some alone time to settle down, it was still early in the morning and people were still eating their breakfast. We all walked to our table, no one had food except chuck of course.

Minho came over and sat down, 'Thomas are you going running today' Minho said, we all turned to look and Thomas, waiting for his answer. 'Yeah I was planning too, to see what's so special about 7 but I will have to go alone because of your leg and the other runners are bloody pussies' he said, I laughed and all the attention was on me, I raised my hands up in defence. Then I thought of something, an idea came into my mind, 'I could come with you Thomas' I spoke up making all the attention back on me, 'what! No!' Newt practically shouted, I rolled my eyes, I could see that Thomas was getting the same idea as me, so I continued to talk. 'I've already been out there and survived so what's the big problem?' I asked looking at no one in particular, 'because you aren't a runner' Newt said, I liked how he cared about me going out there but seriously can someone else not answer me. 'Sophie's right, she did save mine and Minho's life and her own' Thomas said looking at Minho and Newt probably trying to get there permission to take me. 'Thanks Tom' i whispered.

'No' Newt raised his voice and tried to storm off but I stopped him, I stood up in front of him to get in his way. I put my hand on his shoulders, 'I'll be fine Newt, were only going to try find a way out' I said, he didn't look at me, he just stared down at the ground and huffed.

I lifted his chin up to make him look at me, 'Newt... I like how you care about me, but you have to trust me on this, Thomas needs my help, he can't go out there all by himself and no one else will or can't go with him, but I've volunteered to help him' I say looking straight into his beautiful hazel eyes, trying not to melt away, he looks down at the ground again, I lifted his chin up again to face me. 'Newt.. Trust me I'll be okay' his eyes soften.

He huffed, 'fine' he whispered, I smiled and hugged him so tightly in excitement at the fact he's letting me go back out there, 'I'll keep her safe for you Newt' Thomas was now standing beside Newt with his arm around Newt's neck.

'Meet me at the doors in an hour' Thomas said, I nodded and he walked off with Minho. I looked at Newt, 'hey don't worry, I don't need looked after if anyone is going to be keeping someone safe out there it's going to be me keeping Thomas safe' I say giggling and then hugging Newt again.

It's been an hour, I'm already waiting at the doors they have been open for 5 minutes now, so Thomas better hurry up. I see him walking over with Teresa and Newt, 'you ready to go Greenbean' Thomas said mocking Newt, Newt glared at him and I could help but laugh. 'I was born ready' I said, Thomas and Teresa laughed but Newt looked so serious, he really didn't want me going out there.

Then it hit me, I forgot I made a promos to him when I first came that I wouldn't go out there, but I already broke that promise with him, I complete forgot about that, that's why he's so pissed. 'One second Thomas' I said before he was about to run off.

'Newt I'm sorry I broke your promise and that I'm about to break it again, but I can't let Thomas go out there alone' me smile completely faded, he put his hand against my cheek. 'It's okay don't worry about it, Thomas needs you' He smiled but it soon faded, I hugged him and whispered in his ears, 'I'm sorry' I stopped hugging him and kissed him on the cheek.

This time his smile stayed, I went over and stood next to Thomas, 'are you sure you want to go out there again?' Thomas asked me, I turned back to look at Newt and Teresa and then looked back at Thomas 'yes', and within that we ran in.
