Loving the Natural Things

Stretched out absorbing the rays
My brown cinnaomony skin loves the taste
Of the sun and the wind
Nature's blessings

Most hide from the sun to avoid the pigment change
Although something about the direct warmth intrigues my flesh
I have to stay, for it is so welcoming

The brisk wind kissing my arms and hair
leaving me with a mess of triumph curls topping my head
I could go inside away from this natural cosmos but I choose to endeavor it instead

Serenity in my spirit basking in this peace
Something longed for eternity
Take rest in this
World cease

World cease, let us thank God for the calm state we're given
Let us thank God for this everyday

Let us thank him, Let me thank him

Let me thank God for the complexion I carry
Able to say that I own it and enjoy life to an extent

Loving the smallest things to the immense
Loving the natural things in its perfect tense.
