Prologue
I don't know what kept me moving at that point. The fear, was probably a big part of it, but the will to live was also there. I knew I didn't want to die, every part of me screamed that fact. Everyone will die eventually, yes, that's true; but there will always be that will to live. All I could think while I was running through the trees of the large forest I was in was "I won't die in a place like this!"
So, that's what kept my feet moving forward. The absolute fear I felt in that moment was astonishing. Could a human being take this much fear? I didn't know. I wanted this whole problem to end, but dying wasn't my out. Giving up is what kills people, and I wasn't about to give up.
My will to live is how my story got started.
