He pulled out a picture frame. It was a photo of all of us at the meet and greet at the mall in Omaha a long time ago.

She seemed to have gotten nervous. "It was a great time.. I'll never forget how happy I was.. And we were all just in a really good position. I want you to look at that picture if things get hard.. Try to remember how great everything was." She shrugged.

He smiled. "I've never seen this picture. I love it. Wow, thank you."

"Yeah, you're welcome." She nodded.

Jack J laughed. "Look at Matt's face."

Ava looked at me. "I can go if you want.."

"I don't understand? You flew in from Omaha just to come here and give that to him?" I asked.

"Yeah. Originally I'd bought a ticket to come see you but I figured you wouldn't want to see me so I guess I'm really just here for that." She pointed to the picture.

"Well regardless, this is great. I really appreciate it." Jack smiled.

"You're welcome." She smiled back.

After a little while of talking, it almost seemed as if Ava had never went away. We laughed, we told jokes, and we had fun. None of this meant that I'm not mad at her anymore. I still am, because I know for a fact that things will go wrong.

At the end of the night, we cleaned up and got everything into the car. Ava had a rental car. We said our goodbyes like normal, and left. I tried not to show that I was still extremely upset with Ava. I don't think she noticed that I was.

"That was seriously so fun." Jack said. "Thank you so so so so much." We all got into the car.

"You're welcome!" Jack J and I said in sync. I laughed.

"I don't want to ruin anything, and you don't have to answer, but why were you so mad at Ava?" Jack asked. "She didn't ruin anything."

I shook my head. "I was just surprised, and I don't know. I just.... I don't know."

Jack nodded, not saying anything else. I'm pretty sure he knew more questions would just make me angry.

"So where to now?" Jack J looked at me.

"Oh, home please.. I'm exhausted." Jack yawned.

"Yeah.. Let's do that." I nodded.

"Alrighty." Jack J said.

Once we pulled into the driveway, Jack got a phone call.

"Hello?" He answered. Jack J and I listened as he talked. I couldn't tell who he was talking to until he mentioned something about a house.

Shortly, he hung up.

"Was that the real estate agent?" I asked.

"Yeah." He nodded. "She was just asking about when we wanted to reschedule to see that house."

"So you said tomorrow?" I asked. I think that's what he said.

"Yeah so you guys better cancel your plans." He smiled. As if we had any.

We got all of Jack's presents and took them into the house, taking a few trips. There were far too many items to be carried in one trip.

After the decision to watch Step Brothers, we all got pretty tired once the movie was over. Jack J went to bed, and Jack and I went into our room.

He yawned, sprawled out on our bed. "I can't believe I watched that without falling asleep."

I jumped onto the bed and sat on top of him. "Let's go somewhere."

"Right now?" He laughed.

"Yeah! Right now." I demanded. "Get up, let's go!"

"Do you know where we're going?!"

"Yes. I do! Bring a hoodie and let's get going." I smiled, grabbing my Nebraska hoodie.

"Okay?" He grinned, grabbing a hoodie from the closet. I dragged him out into the car and we began on our way.

"So, care to tell me where we're going?" He laughed.

"It's a surprise." I winked.

"Oh?" He smirked.

After about 45 minutes of driving, he kept questioning me. A lot.

"Are we going to a different state or something?"

"No." I laughed.

Just as I said that, we began pulling into where I wanted to go. It was just off the highway. A dirt road.

"We're here." I said, pulling into a campsite. Nobody was here, but it was obviously a place to camp.

"Oh, we're camping?!" He got excited.

"Yeah!! We are!!" I beamed.

"Hell yeah!!!" I laughed at how excited we got. It's the perfect place. Tall trees surrounded us, bugs weren't anywhere to be found, and it was just near the beach.

We both got out of the car.

"Wait." Jack came over to me. "Where are we sleeping?"

I then got into the trunk of the car and pulled out a tent and some blankets that I'd bought at Walmart earlier.

He began laughing. "Do you know how to set that up?"

"No!" I said. "I thought you did."

"No!" He laughed.

"Great." I giggled, not knowing what to do.

"We can do it together." He grabbed the tent bag and began taking everything out. It took about 15 minutes for us to read the instructions, but we finally got the idea.

We began setting it up. It looks more difficult than it actually is, to be honest. Once we got it all set up, we gave each other high fives.

"It looks great!!" He smiled.

I walked over and grabbed all the blankets. There were 3 comforters, 4 fuzzy blankets, and a lot of kids blankets which were printed with superheroes and Disney characters.

"Where did you get those?" He asked.

"Walmart." I laughed, setting them inside the tent. I climbed around inside and made it look pretty. Once everything was in order, I layed down. Jack layed next to me.

"Look." I removed a pocket on the top of the tent. It came off, and we could see the stars.

"Woah." He whispered. "How you find this place?"

"Barbara told me she went here once. It's a place nobody really knows about. The only reason there's a fire pit and bench here is because her and her boyfriend put it there. It's kinda like a secret spot." I said.

"No way." He smiled. "We should come here more often."

"We should." I smiled at him.

"Listen. Today was really so much fun. I don't think I could've asked for anything better. I love you so much." He leaned over and kissed me.

"You're welcome. I love you too." I began to laugh.

"What's funny?" He grinned.

"I don't know. I've just never been camping with you. This is fun."

He laughed. "Technically, this isn't camping. We don't even have a fire going. You should make one."

"You make one!" I giggled.

"I have a better idea." He looked at me.

"What?" I asked. Without another word, he pulled me on top of him and began kissing me. I know where this is going.

"Wait." He paused.

"What?!" I asked.

"Are you sure there's nobody around here?" He smiled.

"I'm sure." I grinned, pulling him back in for more kisses.
