I looked at her for a second too long, but then quickly looked back at the jacket. I didn't look at Jack at all, because I know he'd recognize my eyes.

"Oh, no, go ahead." I said in the most awkward, unrecognizable voice I knew how to do. They seemed oddly suspicious, so I walked away quickly, panicking to find Justin.

I walked to the back of the store, and he was slightly kneeling next to the shoes.

I mouthed "Oh my god!" And he knew exactly what I was talking about.

"Let's go." He whispered.

I looked to the front of the store, and Jack and Madison were already looking at us.

"Act normal. Or, act like an old person?" I discreetly whispered. Justin straightened up and began looking at some ugly green Gucci boots.

"These are hot." He said in a weird voice.

Just then, Madison approached us, Jack behind her again.

I nervously turned around.

"Are you sure you don't want this?" She held up the jacket to me.

"Mhmm." I nodded. "All yours!" I continued with the shaky old woman voice.

"She has one like that at our house anyways." Jack said.

My heart dropped. I looked at Jack, which I haven't done for days.

"Hi Justin." Madison waved. Justin didn't wave back, and sat down on a bench. I joined him, sitting down.

"This is pathetic. What are you guys doing?" Jack said. Madison didn't say anything to disagree with him.

"Pathetic? I think it's funny." Justin countered. "Nobody even recognizes us."

"It was pretty easy to notice the makeup on Paige's face. And her eyes are still noticeable. Also, anybody could recognize you anywhere." Madison pointed to Justin.

"Yeah, if you're really that fucking close to my face." I scolded. Her tone was rude, and Jack was being a dick too.

"What a coincidence." Justin awkwardly laughed. He was trying to brighten the mood.

"What are you guys doing?" Jack scolded, folding his arms.

"What do you think were doing?" Justin said. I could tell he was going to lose it.

"This is fucking weird. And embarrassing." Jack said.

"You guys are the only people who've recognized us. How is that relatively weird or embarrassing? We're having fun." I said.

"You really think you need that?" Jack said. "A disguise? As if you're that famous?"

My heart was pounding. I've never had him be so rude to me like this to my face.

As a lady was walking by, Jack stopped her. "Excuse me ma'am, do you know who Paige Holland is?" He asked.

She nodded, pointing to a poster in the store. It had my face on it. "Of course I do."

Justin and I started laughing.

"And do you know who Jack Gilinsky is?" Justin said.

She squinted. "Um, I don't think so. Why?"

"Oh, it's not important. Thank you though!" Justin laughed. The lady looked confused, but nodded and walked away.

Justin and I bursted out laughing, but Madison and Jack were not amused. I felt weird laughing at Jack. I've never been this way to him before.

I folded my arms. "Were you trying to prove a point?" I asked.

"Why are you such a bitch now?" He asked.

My face heated up under all of the makeup, and I wanted to cry again.

Justin stood up. "You better shut the fuck up before it's a problem." A few women in the store looked at us, but kept minding their business.

"Or what? You're going to beat me up?" Jack laughed. "That'll look great. Besides, all I have to do is rip off that stupid makeup, and you're exposed."

I knew what Justin looked like when he was extremely upset, and even under all of this makeup, I could recognize that look.

"Okay, Jack. Stop." Madison touched his arm. My heart was shattering in a hundred different pieces.

"Why are you defending him?" Justin asked.

I understand that we're having arguments and all, but how the hell has this not become a scene? Gucci stores are suppose to be quiet and very well managed. Justin and I are dressed like a ghetto old couple, and we're sitting here fighting with Jack and Madison. Yet nobody has batted an eye more than once.

"This doesn't need to be a big deal. Can we just stop and go back to what we were doing?" She asked.

"Yeah, let's let Paige go back to fucking Justin." Jack nodded. "We can do the same." He said to Madison.

My eyes watered up, and Justin could see it.

"I'm giving you one last chance to shut the fuck up, Jack." Justin laughed.

"Fuck you. She's a slut, and you know it." Jack began walking off, and Justin came towards him, pulling the neck of his jacket and punching him right in the face.

Jack looked shocked, and held his nose. If I didn't know any better, I'd think it was broken. He was bleeding just from one punch. Madison screeched, and I started crying. Everyone in the store looked at us.

Before I could blink, Jack started swinging at Justin. He tried, but Justin is too quick.

Immediately, a security guard ran over to us. He grabbed Jack, pulling him away.

"Is this boy giving you trouble sir?" He asked Justin.

Justin pretended to be shaky and old. "Yes, he tried to hit me." He said- seeming to be distraught. I tried not to giggle, even though my eyes were watered up.

"That's Justin Bieber!" Jack yelled. "He just punched me!"

The security guard looked at Jack like he was on crack.

"He called my lady a slut, just to cause trouble maybe. It's okay, I used to be a teenager too. I understand." Justin said.

"Sorry about this sir." The guard said to Justin. He still had a hold of Jack, like he was a delinquent.

"It's alright, but he WILL respect my lady. Whether he likes it or not. Or else there'll be a problem." Justin groaned in the old man voice.

"You will respect me." I echoed.

Before Jack could even argue, they were both being escorted out of the store and out of the mall. Madison had her face covered, and was extremely embarrassed.

Justin and I stayed in the store a little longer despite the stares, and we decided to leave once we figured Jack and Madison were gone.

As we were walking out the back doors of the mall, Justin grabbed my hand, and locked his fingers with mine.

"Listen, he's a jackass. I don't even know why he calls you that. You're perfect, and he's completely fucked up over seeing you happy. Don't give him the power to change it." Justin said.

"Thank you." I nodded.

"I'm sorry I hit him. I saw that you were upset and I lost it." He apologized.

I laughed. "I thought the whole situation was funny. Thank you for standing up for me."

"I always will." He said.
