Imagine you are a hedge witch (one who can move between other worlds...I think) living with Sam and Dean, but get confused between your world and the alternate world.

"Ok. You ready?" you ask meekly.

Sam nods and places a hand on your shoulder. "You're sure you can do this?"

"No," you admit, "but it needs to be done."

Dean smiles softly. "You got this, kiddo. We'll be right here when you come back."

You exhale and close your eyes. Your head begins to spin as you feel the world warp around you. The air is squeezed from your lungs, but you keep relaxed and calm your mind and muscles. You feel another world materializing around you. Something soft presses against your side and the air is colder.

Oxygen floods your chest and your eyes flutter open. You are in a large open room, lying on a couch. You slowly ease up to seated position. The room looks just like the bunker you just left, but the colors are more muted and the couch feels more worn down.

"Weird..." you say to yourself.

"Y/n?" You hear Dean's voice. His head peeks around the corner and his eyes light up. "Sammy! She's back!"

He bounds toward you and kneels at your side, looking up at you happily. Dean's smile lines are more pronounced and his face seems older like it has seen much more pain than the Dean from your world had.

"What was it like? What took you so long?"

You decide to play along. "How long have I been gone?"

"Two weeks. You just laid here the entire time."

Around the corner comes Sam. He seems slightly taller here and again he has a sadder complexion than the one from your world. Both of them wear similar clothing and have similar mannerisms as they do in your world.

"Y/n! You're ok! We've been so worried." He too kneels at your side. "What was it like there?"

"Uhh, I don't really feel like talking about it right now. I'm actually super hungry. Burgers anyone?"

Dean laughs. "Sure thing, Princess."

"I can call Cas and he can come eat with us," Sam suggests.

"Cas?" You can't remember the last time you saw Castiel. "Yeah. That'd be great."

Sam pulls out his cell and holds it to his ear. He begins talking to Cas. In your world Cas rarely answered his phone anymore. You missed talking to him.

There's a flutter of wings and the angel appears in his usual trench coat.

"Y/n. It' good to see you awake. You've been traveling back and forth between realms so often I was worried you might not make it out."

"Have I been doing it a lot?"

"This is your fifth time in four months," Dean says, carrying a stack of burgers into the room. "Usually they don't last this long. But, hey. You're here now and you're all good, right?"

"Right..." you take a burger from him and bite into it.

After eating, you excuse yourself to your room. You wander the halls a little before finding your room two doors down from where it should be. In your wardrobe are jeans, t-shirts, and jackets just like what you normally would wear. You kick off your shoes and sit at the edge of the bed.

You close your eyes and let the changes wash over you. The air is sucked from within you and the world morphs around you. Something leathery touches your side and you open your eyes.
