The werewolf pins Sam to the wall and Dean is knocked out on the ground. The three of you are out of silver bullets, but you have a silver knife hidden in your boot.

You slip it out and launch yourself at the werewolf. You yank it off Sam and it twists and scratches your side. After shoving it to the ground, it slashes at your face and blood trickles down the side of your cheek. You hold back a cry of pain and bring the knife down on it with all your strength. It plunges into its chest and the werewolf falls limp.

Wiping the knife on your shirt, you try to stand up. Suddenly you feel dizzy and your vision goes blotchy. You legs give out beneath you and you kneel beside the werewolf.

"Y/n, you ok?"  Sam races to your side and helps you lean against the wall. His eyes wander to your side and he sees the damage. "You're bleeding a tob."

"I am?" You look down and your shirt is soaked in deep red. You touch it with your hand and wince at the pain.

Sam tears off a section of his shirt and wraps it around your waist. He tells you to keep pressure on it and moves to check on Dean. You watch Sam lightly slap the side of Dean's face.

As Sam pleads for Dean to wake up, your vision fades in and out. You feel the blood trickle over your hands as you squeeze the wound. Sam's voice becomes muted and you can't concentrate on anything for more than a second. The world shakes and spins and you feel woozy.

You blink slowly.

Once.

Twice.

Suddenly, all the pain is gone and you don't feel dizzy. You stand up with ease and look around. You say, "Sam, I think I'm ok."

Dean wakes up and looks around groggily. "What's up, Sammy."

"Hey, sleeping beauty," you say, "I ganked the son of a bitch."

Both of them dismiss your statement. "Get up, Dean. Y/n is bleeding out."

"Sam, I'm fine." You walk over to him and wait for them to look up at you.

Instead they look to where you had been lying. Dean's eyes widen and he scrambles to his feet. The two of them rush past you and you follow them. Dean crouches down and you look over him.

At his feet you see yourself. Lying on the ground. Pale and covered in your own blood. Your head hangs limply to one side and your eyes are closed.

"Oh my god. Am I dead?"

Dean presses his thumb to your neck and waits for a few seconds. "Sam, she's alive! Where's the nearest hospital?"

"Ten minutes from here. I'll start up the car. You carry her over."

Sam dashes to the Impala and Dean slips his hands beneath your body. He lifts you bridal style and runs you to the car. He kisses your bloody forehead and whispers into your ear.

His whisper sounds so close, as if he were speaking aloud. "Hold on tight, Y/n. We're gonna get you all fixed up."

At the car, he insists on sitting in the back seat with you while Sam drives. So, you take the passenger seat, occasionally turning around to see Dean cradling your body in his arms. A single tear drips down his cheek and he hugs you closer. He continues to whisper into your ear.

"Come on, Sam," you mumble, "Can't you go any faster?" You lean over the driver's seat and see that he is already twenty miles above the speed limit. So you sit nervously and listen to Dean's words.

Sam pulls into the ER parking lot and stops right in front of the door. Dean picks you up again and carries you inside. You follow them into the brightly lit hallway.

"Help! We need a doctor!" Sam announces and Dean is immediately flocked by nurses.

"What happened?" A nurse asks Dean as he lays you on a stretcher.

"Animal attacked her," he says, wiping tears from his eyes.

The nurses wheel the stretcher away and Sam and Dean follow. They push through a set of double doors and you slip in behind the stretcher. Unfortunately, Sam and Dean are held back by other nurses and aren't allowed through the doors. The only thing you wanted right now is Sam and Dean by your side no matter what.

Reluctantly, you follow your body to an emergency surgery room which you decide not to enter. Seeing your body torn apart by doctors is not something you're ready to see. Instead you head back to the waiting room where you find Sam and Dean sitting silently in two chairs.

You lean against the wall and watch them.

"What happened?" Dean asks.

"While you were unconscious, the werewolf pinned me down and almost killed me. Y/n swooped in and took it out. Just before she killed it, the thing scratched her all over."

Dean tried to keep a straight face and turns away from Sam. No matter how hard he tries, anyone can still see all the pain. His jaw bone twitches and his eyes are wet and solemn. His complexion is even slightly red.

A nurse comes around the corner to give them the updates. "She is currently in emergency surgery and the surgeons are trying their best to clean and stitch her wounds, but there's so many and they're quite deep. She has lost a large amount of blood and needs a transfusion. If all goes well, she is expected to make a full recovery. We will alert you when she is out of surgery and you can see her."

"Thank you," Sam says.

An hour or two later, a nurse shows Sam and Dean to your room. You follow them and go inside the room. You're lying on a bed under a white sheet. You're breathing through a tube and wearing one of those white hospital dresses.

Beside your bed is a man dressed in black. He looks up and smiles at you. Sam and Dean walk by him and kneel at your bedside. The man walks toward you and you step back

"It's ok, Y/n. I'm not here for you today," he says with a calm cool voice.

"Are you a reaper?"

He nods.

"Why not today?"

He shrugs. "Not your time." He pats your shoulder then walks by you. "Goodbye, Y/n. It was nice seeing you for a little."

"Wait!"

He stops and looks curiously to you.

"Am I going to remember all this?"

"Of course not!" He laughs and snaps his fingers.

You gasp suddenly and open your eyes. You're looking up at a light in a ceiling. Sam and Dean are leaning over you and they smile.

"Hey there, Missy," Dean says, leaning down and kissing your forehead.
