Imagine you and Castiel meet the (11th) doctor at a special alien hotel.

"He said he was going to meet us in the lobby," you say, wandering up to the hotel, Castiel in tow.

He lightly touches your arm, and you stop to look him in his bright blue eyes.

"Y/n, how can you know that this man is trustworthy?" he asks for the thousandth time, "In all my time I have never heard of this doctor."

You turn on your heel and grab him by the collar of his trench coat. Pressing your lips against his, you feel him relax in your grip. Stubble on his chin tickles your skin, and you pull away, flashing him a smile.

"Cas, everything's going to be fine. I know the doctor and he knows what he's doing. This is vacation for heavens sake. Try to have some fun, ok?"

A smile creeps across his face. "If you trust him, I trust him."

"That's the spirit!" You giggle and tug Cas through a set of glass double doors.

Although the exterior of the hotel seemed unremarkable, the inside takes your breath away. Held within the walls are fish swimming through water. They wiggle their multicolored tails, opening and closing their mouths.

Upon closer inspection, you realize that some fish are from earth, but others are of unknown origin. You follow a green fire-breathing fish with your eyes as it swims up the wall to the ceiling, narrowly avoiding a pink shark.

A large chandelier floats overhead without anything holding it up. It sways in a way that makes your stomach flutter.

Castiel beside you is also taking his time to absorb the surroundings. The doors behind Cas open up and a man with dark brown hair sticks his head in. His face lights up with a smile and he jumps inside, arms wide open for a hug.

"Y/n! You made it!" He wraps you in a tight hug, swaying back and forth.

"Doctor?" You pull away and look into his eyes. His face is younger and his chin sticks out more. His brown eyes sparkle a little less than the last time I saw him. A little more sadness is hidden within.

"How have you been, Y/n?"

"Nothing much. I bet that's boring compared to what you've been up to."

Behind the doctor, Cas stands patiently, feeling completely out place.

"Doctor, this is Castiel. He's an angel," you say, directing his attention to Cas.

"Ah, nice to meet you," the doctor says pulling Cas in for a hug, "I just love it when angels are live and moving. The statue ones give me the creeps." He shivers for emphasis.

Cas shoots me a confused look, but I just wave the comment away as the doctor begins to babble on about the hotel, leading us to the elevator.

"Oh this is the most incredible place. I just love the touch of the fish. They add that extra pizazz."

We step through the smooth fish-less doors and into a mirrored elevator. The doctor presses the button to the 22nd floor.

"So, what is so special about this place anyway?" You ask, watching Cas shift uncomfortably in the mirror.

The door opens and you come out to a long hallway lined with sleek blue doors. Each has an white oval plaque beside it with numbers. The first door says 2200.

"Well, Y/n," the doctor says, shoving the door open. The three of you step inside and take in your new surroundings. "This is your home in the year 2200."
