Jack had just gotten out of hospital, he was told to stay home for at least a day before going back to school, so he could rest. But Jack was an energetic kinda person, he got bored in 5 seconds of just laying on his bed doing nothing, but much to his annoyance, none of his parents would let him leave the house until school the next day. All they ever said when he would ask if he could go somewhere was
"No, you must follow the doctors orders."
What did Jack think of that? Doctors orders my ass.

So now he was laying sprawled out on his bed, watching as the ceiling fan spun, this sucked. He could go on his laptop, but it was flat, he had his phone but what was the point of that when he had an even better idea.

He was gonna sneak out the window, and take a walk down to the shop for some ice cream, something like that anyway.

He sat up off the bed, then headed to the window that was directly in front on the bed, and lead to the side of the house. He opened it up and peered outside, below him was the trampoline he and his friends used to jump on when he was younger, now he just sat on it when ever his mum would tell him to go outside and pretended to be going something productive... Like not texting his friends.

He bit his lip, this could either end very well, or very badly, either way he wasn't gonna hang around here all day. Jack took a few steps back, then ran at the window, putting one foot on the sill and jumping out, he closed his eyes as he jumped, worried he was gonna miss the trampoline and land straight in the tree beside it. But luck was on his side, he landed safely on the trampoline and didn't break his other arm in the process. Now all he would have to do was climb over his neighbours fence and he would be home free, literally.
Luckily these were the neighbours that were always on holiday for some odd reason, so he could just stroll through there easily, which is what he did.

It was about 3:03, the people from school would be knocking off soon, and probably heading to the shop as well. The shop where he would go to get ice cream was about 5 minutes away, so he might just be able to make it there before the school crowd does, if he didn't he could probably get caught up talking to people and would be even later back home.

By the time he arrived at the supermarket, it was 3:10, he would have been there sooner but he didn't want to try running with his arm busted.
He headed straight to the side window at the front of the store, that's were the ice cream freezer was kept, as he slid the door of the freezer open he saw some people from school walk in, a few of them were younger then him, so he didn't really recognise them. He was digging through the ice confectionaries when he saw... Oh god. Hiccup.
Things with them had been left pretty awkwardly when he saw him last.

He quickly looked away, pretending he didn't notice him, but it didn't work. He saw Hiccup walk hesitantly up to the ice cream freezer. Jack gulped, please don't say anything... He pleaded in his mind. He clenched his teeth slightly then reached for a chocolate coated icy treat, at the moment he reached for it Hiccup did the same, and they touched hands. And there it was, that cliche love scene where they looked into each other's eyes and realised how beautiful each other was... Well sort of.

Jack gave a nervous laugh, then scratched the back of his head, "uh... I grabbed it first." He muttered.
"No you didn't I did." Hiccup answered, sounding a little annoyed, that Jack wasn't playing out the cliche scene like he hoped. But Jack didn't know why.
"Fine, lets go heads or tails." Jack replied, then dug a coin out of his pocket. He raised an eyebrow at Haddock "heads or tails?"
"Heads."
"Tails never fails."
Jack flipped the coin.
It was heads.

"Goddamit!"
"Looks like tails does fail."
"Whatever just take the ice cream."

Jack ended up getting an ice block instead. He wasn't happy. Especially since Hiccup decided to walk with him home, well it was for a reason, he needed to pick up his clothes and give back Jack's. They walked side by side, having a causal chat, while eating their ice creams.
"So... I heard how you broke your arm."
"Let me guess, my friends told you."
"Yep. It was pretty funny too."
"Charming..."
Hiccup shoved Jack gently, Frost gave him a confused look, why did he push him? He was so confused! Wait... He'd seen couples do things like that on TV... Did Hiccup like him? Nah. He couldn't, Jack had a girlfriend... But only to hide the truth.

Jack had his suspicions about Hiccup being gay... And if he was... Would he come out as openly gay? Would Jack also do that and date him? No way! Jack thought we're still far from friends, there's no way we could ever date... Could we?

Sorry this was a little shorter, but I promise there will be more drama in the next chapter! Anyway thx for reading! I can't believe how many reads this had already got! I know it's small but I'm so happy! XD
