Dan:

If you're writing the story in a respective manner; respecting the character's creditbility, respecting the bounderies of the original story (if you're writing an anime fanfiction), and you're doing everything in a non-rude way....

Kageyama:

...Then no one can tell you how you should write your plot.

Asiya:

But, if you're writing a story and expect people to enjoy reading it,

my only advice for you is to read your written chapter out loud (or mouth it) to make sure the passage doesn't sound stupid or off.

It helps, trust me. It helps with checking your grammer, punctuation, fixing the word choice, and correcting the flow of the sentences.

When you're writing willy-dilly, you're basically just writing a rough draft, not a final one.

And also, if you actually read your own passage out loud, you can tell if something doesn't sound right, so it'd be easier to fix. You don't want your readers to read something totally off.

So, if you want to be an effective writer, you should try this out.
