Asiya:
In contrast to other authors, I'm pretty lax about it
(-‿‿-)
I feel like people who go all out in ranting about this need to calm down. It isn't a taboo or anything.
Dan:
Mmmmm--well.....not if they literally Google Translate full verses. Like
"Watashi wa Uranus ni sunde imasu!" Maka smiled, "I can't wait to meet anata desu!"
Kageyama:
I feel violated
( ̄□ ̄」)
Asiya:
Not like that, Daniel! I meant the basics like "-chan" "-kun" "-san" "-sama" "-senpai" etc. Sometimes "hai" is fine.
I used "oi" a lot. Mainly because it's used in the same way in many other lanuages.
In my opinion, the short ones and common ones are acceptable when it comes to fanfics. I personally don't use it often because it doesn't fit my writing style. I mainly use the honorifics.
Kageyama:
I don't think that anyone is dumb enough to actually google translate sentences into their story. Who would be able to read that then? (눈_눈)
Dan:
"Anata no ASSHOLE wo tabetaidesu!" (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞
Kageyama:
omgh die (¬_¬;)
Asiya:
It's not grammatically correct, but it isn't UNACCEPTABLE when it comes to unprofessional writing. If people constantly use those short Japanese words, it gets undeniably annoying sometimes; but that's just me.
Google translating VERSES is just. . .not recommended. It'll be totally unreadable and extremely embarrassing if you say it wrong

Dan:
I think that people use Japanese words for writing anime-fics because they think that it'll be easier for the reader to imagine the scene in anime-form. And that's understandable....just don't overdo it like a freaking weeaboo ( ̄ヘ ̄)
Kageyama:
That's right you bakayarou ヾ( ̄O ̄)ツ
Asiya and Dan:
Kageyama shut the hell up
