-Alyssa Moore-

"You shouldn't have done that, Lys." Hayes said as he helped me into my house.

"I know, I know. I just felt like-"

"Don't do it again until your doctor says you can." Hayes said and kissed my cheek.

"Alright, alright. If you say so." I said and he chuckled.

"I'm serious. Take care of yourself, alright? I'll see you tomorrow." Hayes said and I giggled a bit.

"We don't have school tomorrow, though. Tomorrow is Saturday." I said and he shook his head.

"I know." He said and I smiled.

"If that's your way of asking me out on another date, try again." I said and he chuckled a bit.

"Okay, okay. Alyssa, would you please go on another date with me tomorrow night?" Hayes said and I nodded my head.

"I'd love to. What time will you pick me up?" I asked.

"How's 8?" Hayes asked.

"Sounds good to me. What will we be doing?" I asked.

"You'll see." He said and I sighed.

"It can't be anything too physical. I am injured, you know." I said and he chuckled.

"I know. It's fine. Just trust me." Hayes said and I rolled my eyes a bit.

"Okay, okay. See you tomorrow." I said and kissed him. "Now go home before your family worries about you."

"Alright."

-Next day-

"Mom, Hayes is going to pick me up in a couple of hours." I said as I got up from the couch and went into the kitchen, where my mom was cooking dinner.

"Already a third date?" Mom asked and I shook my head.

"Second. The first didn't count." I said and sat on a chair.

"Ah. What will you be doing?" Mom asked.

"I honestly don't know. He wouldn't tell me what we were doing." I said and watched mom as she cooked.

"Hey, do me a favor and chop some onions, eh?" Mom said and put the cutting board with a couple of onions in front of me.

"I don't want to cry, mom." I said and she sighed.

"Okay. Cut some peppers, then." Mom said and I nodded my head. She replaced the onions with peppers, and I started cutting them.

"When exactly is Hayes picking you up?" Mom asked.

"8. And it's 6 right now, isn't it?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No, its 7." Mom corrected.

"Oh. I don't know what to wear." I said and mom looked at me.

"Just wear whatever you would normally wear." Mom said.

"Alright. Can you go upstairs and get my hula hooper shirt, and some jeans?" I said and she nodded her head.

"Sure." She said and left the kitchen.

Mom won't let me sleep upstairs in my room anymore until my ankle heals, so I sleep on the couch and get dressed in the bathroom. She always gets my clothes for me.

"You meant the shirt that says 'worlds greatest hula hooper', right?" Mom said as she came down stairs and gave me my clothes.

"Yes, thanks." I said and took the clothes before going to the bathroom and changing.

Soon after, Hayes got there and picked me up.

"So what are we doing?" I asked as I got into his car.

"We're going to see a movie." Hayes answered as he started driving.

"Oh. I honestly don't want to go to a movie theater." I said.

"We aren't going to a theater." Hayes replied.

"Then where are you taking me?" I asked.

"Home." He replied.

"Home? What?" I said and he pulled into a driveway.

"Well, I am taking you to a theater. But, it's a home theater." Hayes said and helped me out of the car, then into the house.

"Oh, wow. Really?" I said and he smiled at me.

"Really." He said and led me to a room, which was quite obviously the home theater he was telling me about.

"This is... Amazing." I said and he chuckled.

"Isn't it?" He said and I sat down.

"It is." I said and smiled. "What are we going to watch?"

"Home." He replied.

"I still haven't seen that movie. I've been wanting to, but I just haven't." I said and he looked at me before putting the movie on.

"Now you will be able to say you have." He said and sat next to me.
