We then instinctively held uncle's left hand as he proceeded to read the runes in a strange language and all of a sudden we felt the earth tremor and saw the air shimmer then there was a bright light and all we could see was the bright light.
When the light was fading at first we could not see clearly but slowly as our eyes adjusted we could see we were still in a house but it seemed a bit different. My uncle stepped back to allow us to explore and try and satisfy our curiosity.
This house smelled different, not different in a bad way. It was kind of a very sweet scent but not like any perfume or air sprays. It was a kind of natural sweet scent but what was strange was that we could not really identify what it smelled like.
The second odd thing was that the sky did not really appear blue, it had a kind of redish/pinkish look to it and from the little we could see we could tell that it wasn't evening.
The third surprise was that there were actually two suns. At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but my sister confirmed that she could see the same. All these we saw from what appeared to be an oval window.
As we continued to look out we saw what looked like birds. "Finally, something that at least looks familiar!", I exclaimed.
That's when my uncle stepped near us and said, "... Not really look again using these." He then gave each of us binoculars.
We quickly looked back outside and were amazed at what we saw. They were not like any birds we have ever seen or heard about. They partly resembled peacocks but they had tails, like a dog's, with feathers at the end.
Not remembering that uncle was the one who brought us there I asked, "Uncle, how did you know they were not like normal birds? Where is this place?"
"Let's go sit and I will answer your questions one by one", uncle responded.
