[Rose's Story]

I must have been asleep. The journey had been very long; the grief and anxiety had taken over and I had drifted off. Something also, seemed to be wrong...or at least different.

Our prison on wheels was still being pushed but the countryside seemed just a bit off:

1. The sky here was not reddish or pink so I definitely was not in the land I had been taken from.

2. The sky was not blues so it was not our world either - the lovely earth, my mother world, would I ever see you again?

3. There were no great vegetation just grass, and brown at that, and some rocks strewn here and there along the landscape.

4. The sky itself seemed slightly dark and the sun even though like our earthly sun was not so bright and I could actually afford to look at it directly.

5. Lastly - where were the birds? I could not see any bird anywhere in the horizon in this darker skies.

In my heart I felt hope slowly ebbing away for in my deepest heart I knew we were on a third planet! Where this one was, only God knew.

The journey continued and at some point I dozed off.

I woke up to see a large thing extending far and wide - some kind of a forest. I say some kind of forest because it consisted of things that looked like roots and branches, twisted and at places intertwined but they did not have any leaves. It was mostly tightly packed together a dense forest.

In my mind I was really wondering how we were going to go through this weird looking forest but as we approached I noticed some sort of an entrance and the path continued inwards but I could not see too far ahead as the denseness of the forest and the slightly dark atmosphere of this realm made it difficult to see far - as within was mostly dark!
