[Khxhxha's Story]
I had noted that these were not bad people and that they could probably help us and so I told them our story.
At the very beginning we were five tribes that lived in peace on this planet and life was good.
As we grew the resources dwindled and it reached a time when we could not provide for our large tribes and wars broke out. The five tribes were Koth, Mach, Koyo, Kidi and Te.
There were minor skirmishes at first with the leaders coming together to bring peace.
We used to be a people who were nearly the same size - even height wise but then the situation got even worse as resources became even more scarce and one day the Te and the Koth had a bitter war that lasted for many seasons and the Chief Prince of the Te was killed and the daughter (a princess) of Te was captured.
The King of the Te went mad with grief. He wanted revenge so badly that he consulted those who should not be consulted and the entire tribe was transformed, growing in size, and the darkness started growing over a once beautiful planet.
The Te then fought and completely annihilated the Koth to a man - the King of the Koth. They then used the powers they had gotten to open a portal to another realm and sold the King of the Koth there.
When they realized they could sell people and gain more they quickly started hunting and capturing the other remaining tribes.
The Mach and the Kidi people decided to leave their homeland and look for any other place to stay.
The last we heard we were informed that the Koyo people were hunted down fought and captured and had been sold to the last man.
During those days this forest grew and became the abomination that it is now - covering half of the world.
The Te could not find us - the Kidi people and we also heard that they could not find the Mach and since this world was as good as destroyed they figured out that since there was one planet - where they sold people - there had to be others where they could get more people.
"The last thing you need to know is that we and the Mach people have never figured out the source of the powers of the Te," I told the interpreter, "And as we speak we do not know where the Mach are any more."
