Since we had realised that nothing short of missiles could kill those gigantic creatures I ordered the troops to continue firing but the jets also to use their minor missiles to attack.

The first two jets fired and one was a direct hit and the gigantic creature fell dead. The second creature that had been fired upon evaded the missile which landed behind it and several of the enemies behind it were killed.

Two more jets followed suit and fired. The two gigantic creatures fell down dead but the seven that reached us caused so much havoc. Within just 10 seconds, 63 tanks were destroyed - mangled beyond repairs (and this excludes the eight that had been destroyed earlier), many soldiers were killed, 256 jet-bikes had been downed and one of those creatures jumped up on a fighter jet and when it exploded it killed both the gigantic creature and destroyed a second fighter jet.

By the end of that battle we noted that a total of 6,576 tanks, 25,600 jet-bikes and 16 fighter jets had been destroyed and I still did not have the figures of the dead soldiers.

I feared another surprise attack and so I sent 2 groups of 100 soldiers, 2 jet bikes and 2 jet fighters in each group to go be our sentries as we regrouped. My instructions were that the jet bikes be sent far ahead to do reconnaissance. While the soldiers be stationed in front of the fighter jets.

As we were discussing whether we should pull out and wait for the two groups I had sent with Mike and the other commander we heard distant explosions.

We saw one of the jet-bikes flying back as fast as it could and behind him was the mother & father of all shockers!

There was a massively huge creature that looked like an armoured centipede with its back touching the roof of the tangled forest - a forest that my jets could fly in! It came so fast!

Behind it were 20 or so of the gigantic creature with the enemies troops stretching as far as I could see!

Several jets fired missiles on the thing and nothing happened. It came and the carnage was beyond my description.

Lastly as the fight raged. I heard something like a huge bang and then - darkness!
