Yellow Flicker: Chapter 18
Lauren is sleeping. She's cuddled up to me as my arm wraps around her shoulder. My fingers run through her hair, my eyes watching her sleep.
Sometimes people are beautiful. Not in looks or say, they just are. Lauren is beautiful because Lauren is..Lauren. She's ravishing, she's beautiful, she's basically everything.
She has flaws, but I love her flaws. I love how she plays with the hem of her shirt when she's nervous. I love how her eyes sparkle when she's interested or excited about something.
I bend down and kiss her on the lips. My lips linger before I pull away. A smile forms on her face.
"Mm, that's a way to wake up." She mumbles, turning around in my arms. I smile and face her on my side.
I start kissing her lips over and over again. Lauren starts giggling, making me smile.
"Hey." I whisper, pushing a strand of hair of her hair behind her ear.
"Hi." She smiles.

I do one last push up before stopping. I now sit on the ground, sweat dripping from my forehead.
"You look hot with sweaty." Lauren comes in with a bottle of water.
I chuckle, "That's a first." Lauren sits down next to me and hands me the bottle. "Thanks."
I open it and drink some of it. Lauren leans in and kisses me. I smile and kiss her back, then pulling away.
"What were you up to?" I ask her.
"Hanging out with the girls, but I left. They were teasing me about you. And I wanted to see you." Lauren cutely says with a blush.
I laugh, "Really now?" She nods. "You're cute."

Lauren wraps her legs around my waist. I support her by putting my hands under her thighs. I push her up against the wall, my lips on hers. Lauren kisses me back and tangles her fingers in my hands. My hands move upward, squeezing her butt.
"Watch your hands, L/N." She mumbles into the kiss. I grin and squeeze it again, causing her to moan.
I then turn around and put her on the bed, now hovering over her. I move from her lips to her neck. I gently suck on her neck, then nibble on it. Lauren moans and tilts her head, giving me more access to her neck. I pull away to see a hickey forming.
"Y/N!" She whines.
"Sorry," I smirk, "Not sorry."

"Nice hickey, Ralph!" Dinah laughs. Lauren blushes and hides her face in the crook of my neck.
"Leave me alone." Her voice is muffled.
"At least we know who the dominant one is." Normani laughs.
"We all knew it'd be Y/N." Bea laughs. By now, a blush is on my cheeks as I stroke my fingers through Lauren's hair. "Aww, she's even blushing."
Lauren looks up and smiles at the sight, "You're cute."
"No," I shake my head. "I'm not cute, I'm bad ass."
"Mhm, you're cute to me."
"No. I'm bad ass." I repeat myself.
"Like I said, you're cute to me!"
"No-"
"Shut the fuck up, damn!" Dinah interrupts me.

"C'mon, play something!" Camila shoves the guitar into my hands.
"Alright, alright." I chuckle. I pluck the strings as I think of a song. I close my eyes and begin to sing;

I stop strumming and open my eyes. It's quiet until they start clapping. I smile and put the guitar down.
"I never knew you could play guitar and sing." Demi says, shocked.
"I learned when I was 10 or 11." I say. "And you never asked."
"Wow - that was - wow." Lauren says, looking at me. I sheepishly smile and kiss her cheek.
I wrap my arm around Lauren's waist and tug her closer to me. Lauren smiles and rests her head on my shoulder.
I could stay like this forever.

I found out that my ankle is actually sprained instead of bruised. so I guess ill be home tomorrow? idk. I have crutches now and everything
