Today was my last day of work until I get back from vacation with my family.

"So this year is the year. Will you talk to Blake"? My bestfriend and co worker Akexis said.

Blake is the guy I've had a crush on for four years and I've always been scared to talk to him. I mean we say hi and that's it.

Never a full conversation and I want that.

"Umm I don't know". I said folding a shirt.

"You need to come on it's the last year. Girl I know you want to be his boo".

I shrugged. "Yes...I mean I mean n-no". I stuttered.

"You can't fool me. We have been friends for too long". She said putting shirts on the tables.

"You know who you should talk to"?

"Who"? I asked hoping it wouldn't be someone stupid.

"Your mom. She ended up with your dad and girl he is sexy and fucking rich".

"One eww don't ever call my dad sexy and two my dad asked my mom out. I heard she was just like me when they started talking like that".

"She's older she's probably knows a lot now".

I sighed. Maybe she's right.

"Speaking of your mom". She was walking in with my sisters.

"Mom what are you doing here"?

"Shopping with the rest of the family". She smiled holding Jamie's hand.

"For tomorrow".

She nodded. "And I wanted to see you at work. You look so cute". She smiled.

"Mom". I groaned.

"Sorry. Hi Alexis". My mom hugged her.

"Hello auntie. Jules and I were just talking about you".

"Oh really".

I glared at her and she smiled.

"I'll take Jillian and Jamie and look at some clothes for Jillian". She said taking my sisters away.

"What's going on"? My mom asked worried

"Mom I really don't want to talk about it here".

"Is everything okay sweetheart".

I sighed.

I looked up and gasped. "Oh no".

"What is it"?

"He's here mom".

"Who"? She looked where I was looking.

Blake is here with a lady and sone girl.

"Hey that's Sarah and her daughter and son".

"You know them"?

"Yeah she comes to get her hair done all the time and sometimes brings her daughter. She talks about her son Blake all the time".

My mom looked at me and must have noticed my face.

"Jules you like him". She said smiling.

"Mom". I whined.

"Go talk to him".

I sighed. "I can't mom I get so nervous around him and we never talked more than hi".
