It's been a few weeks. Now it's the night before the first day of my senior year. I'm a little nervous, I mean this is my last year.

Kaelyn asked asked her parents if she could stay here every other weekend. At first they weren't sure because of school starting but they finally agreed to try. So with that being said, she has been here twice and she comes back this Friday. I love having her here. She plays with Carter and at bedtime, she will tell him stories.

Sawyer comes to pick her up every Sunday. I think it's cute, the bond they have. Last week she wanted to go get some ice cream but they were supposed to be home for dinner, so he promised to take her right after and she could get whatever she wanted.

When I was younger I always wished I had an older brother but I just had Chase and Sam. They might be my best friends but they are also my family. Same for Kayla. She is like a sister to me. I love them to death. I don't know what I would do without them. We have been with each other through some pretty rough times. They hold me up on my feet.

Speaking of them, we are all sitting in my living room watching Netflix. Carter is in his crib asleep.

"Do you think we will have any classes together? Asked Sam. "We've each had at least one class with someone every year. I think we might this year too."

"I guess we'll find out in the morning. I'm getting pretty tired anyways, I think I'm gonna go to bed." Kayla said.

"Me too." Chase agreed.

Me three." Sam said.

"Am I the only one that is nervous?" I asked.

They all looked at each other than said, "yeah."

"I'm not nervous about school. I'm nervous about Carter going too. He is older now and he will be a year old during the school year. There's a lot that could happen. He could be one of those kids that bites or hits. I don't want that to happen. I'm just worried that's all." I told them how I truly feel.

"Adrianna, you don't need to worry about any of that. He is a great kid now because of you. He will always be a great kid. You are a wonderful sister but honestly more of his mom. If he didn't have you, there is no telling where he would be." Chase said, wrapping his arms around me.

"Thanks Chase. I appreciate it!"

"You're welcome. Now go to sleep! We have a big day tomorrow." I gave him a funny look and went to sleep.

We all slept in the living room that night. I had the baby monitor close by me just in case Carter got up in the middle of the night.

That morning came quick. Before I knew it we were all up getting ready. I got in the shower first. As soon as I got out I throw my hair in a towel and put my robe on.

"Your turn," I told Kayla as I walked to my closet. She got up off my bed and entered the bathroom.

"Oh hey! I already got something for you to wear." Kayla stuck her head out the door. "What am I... 5?" I asked her. "No but it's our first day of last year and there is no telling what colleges we will be going to."

"Oh okay, so that means I get to choose your outfit." I replied. Kayla let out a long sigh. "I guess."

I put on the clothes that Kayla picked out for me which consisted of a blue ruffled tank top, blue jean shorts, and Tom's. I then fishtail braided my hair.

I got Kayla's clothes out and sat them on the bed for her. I then walked to Carter's room. He was still asleep, so I gently got him out of the crib and put him on the changing table. I grab a T-shirt and a pair of shorts from his dresser. I took his sleeper off, changed his diaper, and put his clothes on. He was still asleep. I don't see how he can sleep through that. I didn't want to wake him but he needed to eat before we left.
