Where should I start? Okay well it has been four months. I know big time jump but look I can give you details.
Tucker and I are dating now. He knows I am pregnant. I can still hide my pregnancy from everyone, so a lot of people don't know about it.
Sawyer barely comes around. I hardly see him in school. I guess he is keeping his grades up though cause the principal hasn't asked me to tutor him again. I guess I really need to talk to him though. I do know he doesn't like Tucker and I dating.
My parents have been trying to come around more. They are actually coming home this week on the seventh. I can't wait to see them. Carter has learned some new words and I want them to hear him.
Sam hasn't tried to confront Sawyer yet. Chase is always making sure I take my vitamins and eating properly. Kayla, she has been going through a rough time. Her dad has been drinking more and her mom is into drugs. She hasn't been over to the house in a few days and to be honest, I am getting kinda worried.
Speaking of Kayla, I decided to call her. No answer. I called again and again. Still no answers. I called Sam and Chase to see if the have heard anything from her.
"Hey, what's up?" Sam answered the phone.
"Is something wrong with the baby?" I could hear Chase yell in the background.
"No it's not about me. It's about Kayla. Have yall heard from her the past few days?" I asked.
"No," They both simultaneously answered. Gotta love twins.
"Okay well I can't get in touch of her and I am getting worried."
"Oh crap that's not good. Call us if you need anything." said Sam.
"Will do. I am going to swing by her house. I will talk to yall later."
"Wait, do you need us to watch Carter?" Chase asked.
"No. Cassandra will. Plus it gives me a reason to go over there." I said.
"You have a permanent reason growing inside you." said Chase.
"Yeah I know but that just feels weird."
"You're weird." said Sam.
"We all have a little weird in us. Gotta go love yall."
"Love ya too!" simultaneously said again. We then hung up.
I grabbed Carter, his bag, and my bag and headed out the door. I walked across the lawn and rang the doorbell. Kaelyn opened the door.
"Adria, Carter! It's been forever. Can you stay and play?" She asked.
"I'm sorry sweetie, I can't but Carter can. Is your mommy or daddy home?"
"Yeah, Mommy is. Daddy is at work." she said swaying her hips. "Mommy, Adri is here!"
Cassandra came out of the kitchen. "Oh dear! How long has it been, too long I know that much."
"I don't mean to do this to you again, but can you watch Carter. I think one of my friends is in danger and I need to make sure she is okay."
"Oh of course I don't mind. I love watching him." She took him and the diaper bag.
"Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Now I gotta run. I will be back as soon as I can."
"Be careful dear." She yelled as I ran out the door. I ran to my car and flew out the driveway. I needed to make sure my friend was okay.
I went to her house and searched. No sign of her there. I looked at all her favorite spots in town. She wasn't there. I drove to her favorite city, got out of my car and began looking everywhere.
That was until I ran into Sawyer.
All he said was sorry and walked off.
I turned and followed him. I stopped him. "So we are friends and an accident happens between both of us and you stop talking to me. You see me in public and you pretend you don't know me." He just stood there staring at me like I was some freak. "Come on Sawyer. You get a girl pregnant and then you don't even talk to the baby's mom. That's low even for you."
"Wait. Did you say Sawyer? As in Sawyer James Thompson?" He asked.
Now it's my turn to look at him like he is a freak. "Yeah," I said.
"I am Joshua Lee Thompson, Sawyers identical twin brother."
"Woah!" Is all I could say. The more I looked at him, the more I could tell the difference. Joshua had more blue eyes, he was taller, and he had less muscles than Sawyer. He was still built but he had less.
"You are wondering how aren't you?" He asked.
I actually kinda was.
"Well, when Sawyer and I were 15, I was kidnapped. As you can tell my parents gave up on looking for me. The cops told them to. Three eyes later here I am. The dude got real drunk one night and I slammed a chair over his head and took off running. Just cause your a guy, doesn't mean you won't be kidnapped. Learn't that the hard way. Anyways, I went back to my home in Washington and all my stuff was gone. The only thing there was a note from Sawyer. He said that Mom and Dad couldn't handle losing a lead anymore so they gave up. They were ready to move on. Dad got a new job in Tennessee, Mom would be a stay-at-home mom. He also said that he would give up looking for me. I don't think he did he just big priorities to deal with right now." He said.
I laughed.
"What"
"He hasn't talked to me since I told him and that was four months ago." I told him.
"Adriana? Is that you?" I turned to the familiar voice.
"Oh thank you God! Kayla, where have you been?" I ran up to her and hugged her.
"They got into an argument and I couldn't handle it. I just ran." She looked behind me. "Oh hey Sawyer."
"Um, actually this is Joshua. Sawyer's twin brother." I informed her.
"Yall can call me Josh. I don't mind, either one is fine with me." He said.
Kayla and I both nodded.
"How about we head back home. I know some people that would be thrilled to see you." I told Josh.
"I would appritate it if you would take me." said Josh.
"No problem." I told him.
We walked back to my car and drove back to the house. I told Kayla she could stay at my house as long as she needed to.
We arrived back to the Thompson's household and I rang the door bell. Josh stood behind us as we waited. Sawyer was the one to open the door this time.
"Oh, hey." is all he said as he moved out of the way to let us in.
"Sawyer, I have someone here for you." I stepped out of the way.
"Josh!" Sawyer froze for a moment then wrapped his brother in a huge hug. "How did you find us?"
"I got away, found the note at the house and traveled all the way here. I then ran in to this lady here and she thought I was you. She then brought me to you. You got one fine lady there Sawyer. Don't screw it up." Josh told his brother.
Sawyer whispered something in his ear and Josh punched his arm. "Ow! What was that for?" Sawyer asked.
"You know exactly what it was for. Don't play stupid with me. We aren't fifteen anymore Sawyer." Josh gave his brother a stern look.
"Okay well I will go get my bother and leave the family to reunite." I said walking into the house. Carter was in the pack-n-play that I left. I grabbed him and the bag and left the house. "Bye guys."
"Ow! Stop that!" Sawyer yelled out.
Kayla and I walked back to my house and just relaxed. We didn't talk about anything. I didn't want to and I am sure she didn't either.
