Taylor has been hung all over Sawyer since the first day. It's like she is stuck up his butt. It's disgusting honestly.
Today was Friday which meant I got Kaelyn tonight. Dang, it sounds like a custody agreement.
"Do you want to go Josh's party tonight?" Taylor asked Sawyer as she placed an apple on her tray.
"Sure why not." He replied.
I didn't care. There was no reason to care right?
After lunch I went to check on Carter.
"He is asleep. You can stop you worrying," Ms. Adams said.
"Yes mam I know. I just wanted to see how he was doing. Make sure he wasn't biting any of the other kids." I told her.
"He is 8 months old and only been in here a month. He hasn't even tried to harm a toy yet," she laughed. I also laughed. He doesn't really play with toys, he holds it.
The late bell already rung. "I think you need to get to class if you are going to manage those fantastic grades of yours." Ms. Adams patted my back.
"Yes mam. I will see you later." I went back to class after Ms. Adams said she would email my teacher.
I walked in the door 10 minutes late.
"Ah Miss. Lain, so glad you could join us. Take a seat." Mr. Pierce said pointing to the only seat left. I'm sure you can guess right where that seat was too. Right beside Sawyer. I took my seat and began trying to focus on Mr. Pierce.
"Sppt Adrianna. Sppt!" Next thing I know I'm getting hit with paper balls.
"Adrianna Lain and Sawyer Thompson to the principal's office. Adrianna Lain and Sawyer Thompson to the principal's office." Sawyer and I looked at each other.
"I swear. If you got me in trouble you are dead meat." I told him
"There isn't cameras in these classrooms or closets, I should know." He smirked.
"Woah, woah. I don't want to hear about what you do on your free time." I told him.
We go to the office and wait to be called in.
"Miss. Lain, Mr. Thompson." Mr. Davis called us in. We both took a seat. I was a little nervous. The only time I really been in the principal's office was to enroll Carter in daycare here.
"We have been going through attendance and grades and we are worried about yours Mr. Thompson. That is why we are requiring you to be tutored. And Miss. Lain is going to be your tutor. We have already talked with both parents and they say it's fine. And if you fail to attend tutoring, you will not graduate. Miss. Lain, are you okay?" Mr. Davis looked at me.
"Oh um yeah sorry, I just blanked out." I told him half the truth. I was freaking out on the inside. I don't know how I am sitting still at this moment. I just want to run around this school and scream at the top of my lungs. I can't do that now can I.
"Mr. Thompson, I understand this might take away from you 'social' life, but I don't think you want to spend another year in this school." Mr. Davis turned his attention to Sawyer.
"But it's only the beginning of the year. Two months into school for that matter. Why do I have to be tutored now?" I could see the anger and frustration in his eyes.
"Your grades are low from missing so many days, we believe it will be a lot easier if we start you out early. Go ahead and have Miss. Lain start tutoring you and hopefully you won't need it by the second semester." Mr. Davis tried to explain but I think it only made it worst.
