Thanksgiving is tomorrow which means it has been a month. We haven't gained any progress any in subject. Which isn't good must I add.
"We just need to let loose and have some fun. Come on, we will be back before Thanksgiving dinner." Sawyer grabbed my hand pulling me in off the couch. "My mom can watch Carter. You need to live for a little while."
I groaned standing up, rolling my eyes at him as I grabbed Carter. "Fine. Can I at least know where I am going?"
"No," he smirked as we walked out the door.
We walked into his and I was immediately greeted by the amazing smells. I could smell a ham in the oven that Mrs. Thompson has been cooking all day.
"Oh what brings you here beautiful? Oh and I see you brought Mr. Chunky Monkey." Mrs Thompson took Carter from my arms.
"I was actually wonder if you would watch him for a few hours. It seems like your son is kidnapping me and I need a babysitter. Would you mind?" I asked.
"Of course not dear, but my son better have you back here before dinner." She pointed a stern finger at her son.
"Yes mam, I promise to have her back." He placed his right hand across his heart.
For some reason, Mrs. Thompson thinks her son and I are dating. I wish she could see her son at school. He is always with a different girl, it's sickening.
"Okay well we are going to head out. I don't know when, but I promise to be back before dinner." Sawyer grabbed my hand again pulling me toward the door.
"Bye buddy! I will be back in a little bit. You be good, you hear me!" I kissed the top of Carter's head before Sawyer pulled me out the door fully.
"This is going to be one long night. I can already tell." Sawyer jumped in on the driver side of his Midnight Black 2014 Camaro ZL1. I sat in the passenger side looking out the window as we made our way further away from the city.
"Do I just have to sit here and wait or will you tell me where you are taking me?" I asked looking over at him.
He took his eyes off the road for a split second and said, "No need. We're here." I looked around as he came to a stop in the middle of a field.
"Is this the part where we get out of the car and you lead me to the wood and kill me?" I looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
"What are you talking about?" He turned toward me looking at me like I have lost my mind.
"You know. The guy takes the girl out far away where no one can hear her scream. He leads her into the woods and kills her. Sometimes he plays games with her. Is this where you begin?" I ask again.
Sawyer burst out laughing. I mean, full on grabbing his stomach, it's hurting laughing. "You- you have got to stop-" more laughing "stop reading and watching that stuff. You have fully lost your mind." He sobered up from his laughing fit. "I brought you out here to show you how to live, not to kill you. That would be the complete opposite."
I let out a sigh of relief. I mean I didn't really think he was going to but I was a little freaked out.
"Come on, we have an appointment." Sawyer got out of the car leaving me to think for a second. What appointment?
I followed Sawyer through the woods till we finally entered a clearing.
"What are we doing here?" I asked.
"We are going skydiving!" Just then a plane landed.
"What?! No! I am not getting on that plane and jumping out of it. I don't even want to get on a plane to travel, what makes you think I want to jump out of one?" I started ranting.
