Erika's POV

I sit straight up in bed. Why am I getting these strange dreams?

Who was the woman? And what was that thing in the woods? More questions and very few answers. It seems that when it comes to this island all I get is more questions.

But its just a dream, right?

A part of me feels as though it is more than a dream and that scares me. I try to convince myself that it's nothing. But part of me knows that's a huge lie.

Sighing heavily and getting out of bed, I walk to my bags to get a change of clothes. Searching through my bags, I find a nice blue sun dress. I change into the dress and look at myself in the mirror confirming that the dress doesn't contrast with my green eyes and blonde hair.

When I don't see anything wrong with my appearance, I walk out the room and down the hall to eat breakfast. As I walk down the hall, I see Cam come from the hidden passage and into the dining room. His back muscles can be seen through his t-shirt. His blonde hair messy on his head as if he's been running his hands through it.

I follow him into the dinning room and find Gordon already sitting at the table eating pancakes and sausage. An assortment of breakfast food is on the table. Scrambled eggs, bacon, various fruits and pancakes all sit on the table waiting to be devoured.

Sitting down, I grab some fruit, bacon and some scrambled eggs. When I'm done my mouth is watering and I can't wait to dig in. As I grab my fork, I realize that Gordon is watching me.

Gordon sets his fork down on the table. "Erika, Cam and I must leave for a few hours. Sophie will be staying in her room. Will you be all right on your own?"

I don't know if he thinks of me as a child or if it's his fatherly instincts coming to the surface when he asks this. I try my best not to feel offended or make a snarky remark.

"I will be fine Gordon. You don't have to worry about me." I tell him and I look at Cam, noticing the smirk on his face. I shake my head and cut up the piece of pineapple that sits in front of me.

"So, what are you doing for the next few hours?" I ask before putting pineapple in my mouth.

"We're going to get rid of some pirates." Cam says as he glares at his plate. I notice his clinched fists and white knuckles while he continues to hold his butter knife in his hand. "I've decided I'm going to round them up and shipping them off to sea after what happened a couple days ago."

"Do you want any help?" I ask, already knowing his answer.

"No, I think we will be fine." He pauses and I look down at my plate thinking he's not going to say anything else.

"But, thanks." He says and I look up to find Cam looking at me.

I still remember how he looked when I first saw his smirk and I secretly wonder what he would look like if he smiled. I look at Gordon and see him staring at Cam before he looks at my wrist.

"Have you ever thought about practicing?" Gordon asks.

Looking down at the flames on the wrist, could I learn to harness the power?

"Is it possible to practice?" I ask, unsure of how this works. Looking hopeful towards Gordon waiting for his response.

"Of course, how else are you supposed to use it on demand?" Gordon asks with a smile on his lips. "I'm sure Cam could help you out if you need."

I look over at Cam hesitantly and notice Cam's eyes already focused on me. He snaps his fingers and fire appears just above his hand. I try the same thing, astonished with what I saw, but nothing came from my hand.
