Chapter 1: The First Day

Narrator

Jakki groans as the sound of her alarm blares all through out her room. Rolling to the side of her bed, she grabs the phone off the nightstand and dismisses the alarm. She didn't get a wink of sleep last night. Tiredly rubbing her eyes, she stands up and walks towards the bathroom. She takes a shower, brushes her teeth, and does her business in there (no need for the details). Today was her first day of Ouran High school. A prestigious school where only the very wealthy and the very intelligent can get in, luckily Jakki was both.

Alas Jakki wouldn't be able to go to Ouran as herself, instead she would be going as Jax. Long story short, Jakki's parents wanted two sons but got her instead but she was born with a gift. A gift that came very handy. She could change almost anything about herself. Her height, hair, eyes, bust size, etc. Her parents force her to become someone she isn't, not that Jakki minds since Jax has become basically a part of her. To everyone's knowledge so far, the Tuus family has an older son and a pair of twins. One twin being Jakki and the other being Jax. The girl's whereabouts were unknown.

Soyome was "their" older brother who left with his own business and was doing well. Their parents wanted a second son who could inherit the family business but it was foiled when they found out Jakki was a girl and that they could bear no more children. So, they used what they could get. That brought her here, where she was to attend Ouran as Jax Toyome Tuus rather than Jakki Totomaru Tuus.

Sighing, Jakki peered at her red eyes in the mirror as they stared right back. Closing them, she imagined the dazzling color of sapphire blue until a mild burning sensation erupted in her eyes. She kept them closed until the tingling ended and then finally opened them to find that they were just the color she wanted. Next, she lightly tugged at her long wet hair while closing her eyes, imagining it shorter. The presence of hair left her shoulders and when she opened her eyes she saw a good looking boy. It was her, well it was Jax.

Jakki already had a prominent jawline, so that helped with the look. Finally, she exited the bathroom and lunged herself at the bed. Laying with her back against it, she got ready for the weirdest part of all, the height changing. She liked being the same height as Soyome which was six feet and two inches. Pretty tall, I know. Her legs ached a bit like she was going up a steep set of stairs until it suddenly stopped, when she stood up she was significantly taller. Now, she was officially Jax, well after she shrunk her bust size until it was basically non-existent. "He" was ready for Ouran High school.

Jax's P.O.V

After that whole "transformation" jazz, I got dressed. I slip on a plain white t-shirt and put on the school uniform's blazer on top. I leave it unbuttoned, as well as rolling up the sleeves a bit. I then continue to put on the school uniform's pants and shoes then I'm out the door. Quickly passing through the kitchen, I grab an apple while winking at a couple chefs that roll their eyes since they're used to my antics. I decide to walk to school since I didn't like limos and Ouran was a couple minutes away. Off I was to Ouran High school.

Timeskip

Had Ouran gotten pinker since I last saw it or was that just me? Anyway, the school basically glistened as a small amount of girls in their frilly yellow dresses walked outside and the boys wearing their blue blazers flirted with them. I decide to cut through the garden. Shrill screeches catch my attention as I'm walking through the garden. Alarmed, I listen to what was happening.

"Have you seen the new host? He's so charming!" a high-pitched voice that had to come from a girl sighed with admiration.

"I know! Haruhi is so beautiful that it hurts." another voice cooed.

Haruhi? Could it be? No, probably not. There were tons of Haruhi's in Japan. But what was a host? Keeping that in mind to check out later, I stroll in to the school and head to class 1A. I had already checked out the school before to know where classes were so I knew where I was going. It seemed as if class had already started. I swagger in, a bored expression on my face. Everyone's eyes automatically go to me.

"Ah, you must be the new scholarship student. Please introduce yourself." sensei said.

"Hi, the names Jax. I just transferred here with a scholarship. That'll be all you need to know." I say boredly, scanning my eyes across everyone. I notice the girls were practically drooling, obviously the effect of my good looks. Stuffing my hands in my pants pockets, I meet a familiar pair of eyes. It was Haruhi! It had to be her. But why was she wearing the boy's uniform? Probably didn't want to wear those frilly dresses.

"Alright, any questions?" Sensei asked the class. Practically every girl's hand shot up. "I'll take only four questions."  Sensei said which made all the girls whine.

"Its alright, ladies. There's enough of me to go around after class." I purr, tipping a girl's chin upward to face me and winking. She fainted. Sighing, I make my way to an empty chair that just so happened to be right behind Haruhi.

"Alright, no questions then. Lets start with the lesson." Sensei said and started to drawl on about his subject. I guess fainting girls were normal for him.

Propping my feet up on the table, I leaning back on my chair with my hands behind my head. Closing my eyes, I make note to talk to Haruhi after class. I'm taken out of my thoughts by a poke on my right shoulder. I open my eyes and am met with another right in front of me.

"May I help you?" I ask with a uninterested tone. They back up and then another pops up. Am I seeing double? My eyes adjust and I internally gasp. It was Hikaru and Kaoru. Well, isn't it just a little reunion up in here. Too bad they don't know its Jakki. I smirk at them.
