Jax's P.O.V
I woke up to a dimly lit room as I tried to shuffle around in the bed but the IV in my arm stopped me. I was obviously in the hospital, the heart monitor to my side gave it away. Sitting up, the white blankets fell off my chest to reveal that it was bandaged from my armpits to the middle of my back. Luckily, I had cared enough today to basically make my breasts non-existent and like an actual guy's.
I spot a window that was covered by some shutters by some light peeked through telling me that it was day time. Looking around, I see a remote on the side of my bed and reach for it. Noticing one the buttons said "Call Nurse" I click it and a voice rings out through the remote itself.
"Yes, how may I help you?" a female voice asked.
"Um, yes. I just woke up so I was wondering if you could tell me what was going on?" I answered back.
"Luckily for you, you just woke up in time for visitor time. There are a couple of people here to see you, may they enter?" the nurse asked as I heard whispers in the background.
"Sure." I say, knowing it was the host club. They've probably visited before I realize, noticing Usa-chan beside me. The rather large door opens, revealing who I believe is the nurse and the host club behind her.
"Visitors can stay a couple hours, so take your time." the nurse says, then walks out the door after the host club files inside the small room. Hikaru was carrying a bouquet of light blue roses while Kaoru was holding a bouquet of orange ones. They make their way towards me and hold out the flowers to me. Kaoru looked at my warmly while Hikaru doesn't look at me.
"Thanks." I say, grabbing both of the bundles of flowers. I throw the blankets off of me and begin to stand up to which all the hosts protest. "Alright then, can one of y'all hand me those gauzes there and some of that medical tape?" I ask, pointing towards the sink where I spotted them. Haruhi hands them to me.
"Are you allowed to get up?" Haruhi asks as I apply a piece of medical tape to the gauze. I shrug, gently pulling out my IV and quickly applying pressure to stop the bleeding. I hold it there for a couple of minutes as the host club watches in horror. It finally stops so I stick the tape on my skin so the gauze stays in place. The hosts snap out of their trance and begin to freak out.
"Why did you do that?!" Tamaki yells beginning to throw himself all around. "We need to call the nurse! Mommy call the nurse!" he continued to yell.
"Calm down. I know what I'm doing." I sigh with a role of my eyes as I stand up to full height, towering almost every one except Mori.
"Yes, you seem to have a basic knowledge of it. Why is that?" Kyoya questions.
"My sister, she studied to be a doctor once upon a time." I answer, looking through some cabinets until I find what I was looking for. Pulling out the glass vase that just so happened to be in here, I fill it up with the appropriate amount of water then begin to pour in the packets that came with the flowers inside the water.
"Yes, that reminds me. Care to explain why I'm unable to find any intel about you other than basic information?" Kyoya asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Maybe you're just a sucky detective." I shrug while using some scissors I found to cut the ends of the roses in an angle. Hikaru and Kaoru laugh at my answer, trying their best to put their arms around my shoulder but failing.
"The only thing I can find about you is that you're a male, fifteen years of age, came here on a scholarship, and have two siblings. I can't even find any thing about your family other than the amount of siblings you have." Kyoya says, obviously getting frustrated.
"Maybe you shouldn't be snooping in the first place." I say, plopping the roses inside the vase and arranging them so the colors were mixed together. After I was finished, I run my hand through my hair and lightly smell the roses.
"You seem to like flowers a lot, Jax-chan." Hani says as he looks at me from behind Mori.
"Yeah, they're pretty great." I say with a small smile, putting a hand behind my head. Tamaki then decided to squeal.
"My son is so cute when he wants to be! Sure he can be scary at times but he's just a little sweetheart isn't he?" Tamaki gushed, spinning in circles. I roll my eyes and ignore his antics. Noticing in a mirror that the only thing I was wearing were some light blue sweatpants that were probably provided by the hospital, I look around for my clothes.
"So, you guys know where my clothes are or am I just supposed to stand here half naked." I say. The bandage covered about half of my torso but my abs were still showing as I stuffed my hands in the sweatpants pockets.
"Oh, well the top of your school uniform was ruined but I was able to bleach your white t-shirt." Haruhi answers, handing me my white t-shirt. I slip it on and thank her. Suddenly, a hoodie was being held out to me by Mori who had took it off himself. I grab it.
"Thanks." I say, putting it on as well. "So, do you guys know when I can leave?" I ask.
"You're able to sign out today if you want. You suffered from some blood loss which resulted in your fainting but it wasn't bad enough for it to end up with scarring so you'll heal just fine." Kyoya says, pushing up his glasses. "But do know that you'll have to pay back the teacup set you broke." he states with a smirk.
"Okay, I figured that." I shrug.
"But how is a commoner like you going to pay that much money?" Hikaru and Kaoru ask, smirking mischievously as well. I almost laugh. Almost but not quite. Commoner, huh? I decide to go along with it.
"Hmm, I don't know. Oh, how will I ever be able to pay this off." I say sarcastically.
Obviously not catching on to my sarcasm, Tamaki answers.
"Aha! From now on you will be working as a host to pay off your debt!" he exclaims, twirling as sparkles and roses follow him. I chuckle and nod lazily."Welcome to the joining the host club because we have to pay off our debt club. We're the only ones in it." Haruhi deadpans as I smirk. This was going to be interesting.
