Chapter 17: Jakki Is Here!

Jakki's P. O. V

     I jumped out of bed when my alarm rang and was surprised I actually got some sleep last night! I made my way over to my large bathroom and began to take a warm shower. After, I began to brush my teeth. Finally, I washed my face and moisturized with Twisted Peppermint scented lotion from Bath and Body Works. I looked at myself in the mirror and my red eyes peered back. I grimaced and drew back. Freak. Hideous. Demon. I clutched at my head to make my shadows stop. Today is a happy day, whether you like it or not. I gave a fake smile to myself in the mirror and gave an encouraging thumbs up. I walked back to my room and opened my door to my walk-in closet. I, then, proceeded to grab a random outfit from the racks. I set them down on the bed in my walk-in closet, it's a water bed, and examined them. It was a dress with a blue-green plaid bottom and a white top, a burgundy cardigan, a black leather belt around the dress, and some black knee-high stockings. I put them on and grabbed a pair of my favorite black combat boots. I tied my hair in a high ponytail with a black bow. I looked at myself in my full length mirror, that was taller than me. The outfit looked good enough to go to school in, but I really couldn't care less. I went over to my jewelry section and grabbed two really important ones. One was a gold chained necklace with a twenty carat diamond ring on it. The band was braided and gold, it was encrusted with small diamonds and looked beautiful. On it, it read "Best" in cursive. Hikaru and Kaoru have the other ones, but theirs are just gold bands. Hikaru's says "Friends" while Kaoru's says "Forever" and they all have a heart engraved beside it. Before I left, they gave it to me and I wore it everyday. The only time I took it off was during performances and when I was Jax. I insisted they don't give it to me since it was so expensive, but they slipped it in my pocket when we hugged. I smiled at the memory. The other one was a bracelet from Haruhi. Both of ours are charm bracelets. Mine was silver and had multiple charms on it. My color theme was blue and silver since my birthstone is a sapphire. My favorite charm is a silver wolf howling upwards, the next one was a full moon that read "We'll stick together to the moon and back.", next was a silver piece of candy with a small sapphire in the middle, another was a yin and yang symbol, and finally there was a cracked heart surrounded by a silver cage with a lock and a key close by. I got that charm my self and never told her the meaning. It, actually, represents me. A cracked and caged heart with it self locked, just waiting to be unlocked and broken. I slipped the necklace over my head and around my neck. Then, I put on the bracelet. I was ready to see The Host Club.

Jakki's P. O. V

I pushed open the door of the school and walked towards the headmaster's office. I knocked sharply. "Come in!" A voice said. I went inside and was in a rather large room. "Hello, Headmaster Suoh. My name is Tuus Jakki and I'm here to fill in for my brother." I bowed my head slightly. "Ahh, yes. Who is you is your brother?" He asked. "His name is Toyome Jax and he'll be gone for about two to four weeks tops. I will be doing his work for him until then, if that is okay." I explained. "Oh, this has never really happened before...but I guess you may." He smiled. "Thank you, I'll be going." I bowed and walked out the door. I walked towards room 1A and stood in front of the door. I quickly smoothed my ponytail, repostioned my dress, and wiped nonexistent dirt off the bottom of my dress. I knocked and waited for the teacher to come. He opened the door and smiled. "Ah, hello. Please come in." He motioned towards the class and I slowly walked in. "Everyone please pay attention. Please, introduce yourself " Sensei said. "Hi, my name is Tuus Jakki and I'll be filling in for Jax." I nodded towards everyone with an expressionless face. In the back was Hikaru, Kaoru, and Haruhi. They all looked very restless. "Raise your hand if you have any questions for Miss Tuus." Sensei announces. Practically everyone raises their hands. "We'll go in order. Miss Kuro, please ask your question." Sensei declares. "Are you dating Jax?" She asks with a sharp glare and snooty voice. "No." I answer simply. "No? That's all your going to say? What a loser." She says smugly. Hikaru and Kaoru look like they're about to burst. "That's enough, Miss Kuro." Sensei says. A more nicer girl is next. "May I ask how you know Jax-senpai?" She asks. "I am Jax's twin sister." I say. "Oh, okay. Thank you." She bows her head and turns to the next person. "How old are you?" A guy next to her asked. "I'm fourteen." I say. "Okay, thanks." He says. Sensei clears his throat to get the class' attention. "That'll be enough questions, I don't want to take up all of class! Today were going to be learning outside, so please go to the maze." Sensei directs and is followed by all the students. I wait for everyone to file out and am about to follow, but all of a sudden I'm picked up. "JAKKI, I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!" Haruhi yells while squeezing the life out of me. "I've missed you too, but can you let me down?" I say. She sets me back down carefully and a huge smile spreads across her face. "Still short as ever!" She smiles. I look at her with an irritated face, but she's too happy to notice. "Hey, don't hog her to yourself!" The twins yell and snatch me from her. "Wha?!" I say. The twins hug both of my sides and I feel very claustrophobic. "I've missed you so much, Jakki!" Hikaru says while hugging me. "Me too!" Kaoru follows after. "I've missed you guys too! But, get off of me." I order. They back away and I smile at the three of them. "Let's go!" I say happily and run out the door.

Hikaru's P. O. V

When Jakki first stepped through the classroom door, the first thing that came to mind was...beautiful. Ever since we were little kids, she was always beautiful. Her eyes alone could captivate you. Kaoru and I were pretty restless, we wanted to hug the life out of her. We haven't seen her in years and finally seeing her made us more happy than ever. I smiled at seeing how short she was, she was still her petite self. About two inches shorter than Hani-senpai. But, don't let that fool you...she can be the most menacing person ever if you make her mad. When that snooty girl started being a brat to Jakki, Kaoru and I were furious. Of course we couldn't do anything, but it made our blood boil. Jakki was always good at holding in her emotions and keeping cool. She was kinda like Mori-senpai. We could see that all the guys found her cute or whatever, but we know Jakki won't be interested in them. We examined Haruhi and saw she was practically bursting with excitement. Right when everyone filed out the room she jumped out her seat and zipped towards Jakki. We did the same, but she was surprisingly faster. "JAKKI, I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" Haruhi yelled while picking her up. I could see that Haruhi was hugging the life out of her and that Jakki was happy to see her, which made me smile. "I've missed you too, but can you let me down?" Jakki asked. "Still short as ever!" Haruhi beamed at Jakki. Jakki gave Haruhi an irritated glare, but it was unnoticed by her. "Hey, don't hog her to yourself!" Kaoru and I chorused as we snatched her away. "Wha?!" She says in a cute and confused voice. I hug her right side as Kaoru hugs her left. We tell her we missed her and she says the same, then orders us to get off her. We follow her order. She smiles at all of us with bright eyes. "Let's go!" She yells and runs out the door. Kaoru and I look at each other, then we look at Haruhi as she glances at us. All of quickly zip out the door, chasing Jakki. I'm glad she's back.
