Jakki's P.O.V
This morning was horrible. First, I had to wake up early, which I have to do all the time but I can never get used to it. I stubbed my toe, slipped in the shower so I had to shower again, and I was late. I trudged towards the garden gates of the school and glared at the ground the whole time. My baggy hoodie went all the way down to my mid-thigh and the sleeves were far past my hands. The black skinny jeans and converse added to the "commoner" look, which was unintentional and merely done since I was late. I couldn't care less about what I looked like or what other people thought. The sounds of giggles were heard from the other side of the garden gate, but I passed it off as a group of airhead girls gossiping about boys and such. A strong gust of wind blew my hair in to my mouth, leaving me spitting and picking strands off my tongue. I sighed and took the two hair ties from my wrist, tying my hair in to effortless pigtails on both sides of my head. Both sides were both evenly long and shouldn't even be called pigtails, because of the huge length. I knew I probably looked like a "cute, innocent, and little girl" as they all say, but I wasn't really the mood. I slammed open the gates and as they crashed in to the walls, a bunch of eyes were on me. Girls, in their monstrosity that they call dresses, were everywhere, sectioned to different tables as cherry blossoms fell around them. Most of them had glowing red faces and some were sprawled on the ground due to fainting. The Host Club is doing this outside now? It was silent, just the sound of birds singing and the rustle of cherry blossoms falling. I blew a stray strand of hair away from my eyes and examined everyone. "What?" I asked grumpily.
It was silent at first, until the first girl squealed with delight. "KYAAA! SHE'S ADORABLE!" The obnoxious girl yelled happily and it was soon followed by more squeals about how cute I was. I huffed and concluded that they weren't of enough importance to me for even an eye roll. I dragged my feet past the clusters of girls trying to pile on top of each other to see me. The host club had been watching me stalk over to them with shocked faces. I stop in front of them and stand there as they don't move. "You guys gonna do anything or are you going to look like a bunch of weirdos staring at a 'little girl'?" I ask, irritatedly. Babo-senpai's eyes suddenly began to sparkle as his face contorted in to the look of madness. I slightly feigned back, aware of his state of mind. He lunged at me as my eyes widened. "YOU'RE SO PRECIOUS!!" He yelled. His height and mass against mine would crush me, plus it's too late for me to move out the way. If I was Jax right now, I'd be able to easily surpass him but unfortunately I'm not right now. I send a panicked gaze towards the closest person which was....Hani-senpai. He seemed to get the message and tackles me out the way before Babo-senpai suffocated me. Hani-senpai's arm went under my head, to protect it from the hard ground, and we both seemed to fall in slow motion. The fall was surprisingly soft for the both of us and we were both unscathed. I shot up first and looked down at Hani-senpai. He had a huge smile on his face and stared up at me happily. I presented my hand for him and he grabbed it gladly. I pulled him up, then dropped his hand afterward. I dust off my skinny jeans and looked back at him. A genuine smile spread on my face and I gave him a brief hug. "Thanks, Mitsukuni-senpai!" I did a closed eyed smile as his eyes widened.
I had slipped away to class as The Host Club were busy scolding Babo-senpai. I guess Mitsukuni-senpai was now a part of the very small list of people I trust, I'm glad. None of The Host Club was in this class, so it was peaceful and nothing really happened. Other than the surprised gazes as I turned in yet another early assignment that was probably due in a couple months. What? I know all of this, why act like I don't? I saw Mitsukuni-senpai not far from me as well as Mori-senpai. "Hey, guys! Wait up!" I say with average loudness, but it somehow echoes and sounds loud. They turn and a big smile spreads on Mitsukuni-senpai's face. Mori-senpai's mouth lifts up a bit, which is pretty good for him. They stand and wait for me as I slightly jog towards them. "Hey, guys." I said casually as we resumed to walk." "Hi, Jakki-chan!" Mitsukuni-senpai beamed happily. How can he be so cheery all the time? It must be the cake. "Hm." Mori-senpai nodded and gave me a gentle tap on the head. "So, what happened when I left?" I asked. "Oh, well...we're about to go to a meeting of how we're going to punish Tama-chan!" Mitsukuni-senpai said with the same amount of cheer in his voice as before. "A punishment is not necessary." I said and shook my head. "No, he needs to learn to not do that anymore." Mori-senpai said his very first sentence for today..and. probably the only sentence for the day. I merely shrugged my shoulders as we pushed open the doors to The Host Club.
Rose petals fell on us and some landed on the top of my head, but I did nothing to brush them off. Hikaru, Kaoru, Sonsang-senpai, and Babo-senpai were present in the room, but we arrived just in time to see Hikaru and Kaoru lock Babo-senpai in a closet. "What are you guys doing with him?" I asked, not really caring of Babo-senpai's well-being but instead was curious. "We're initiating 'Project Daughter Deprivation' it's his punishment, mam." They both chorused and stood straight like a soldier while saluting. I chuckled a bit and grinned at them. I cleared my throat and stood in an authoritative manner while making a straight face. "Explain 'Project Daughter Deprivation', soldiers." I ordered. "The criminal will be deprived of any interaction with Haruhi and Ms. Jakki until further notice." They both chorused yet again. "Good job, soldiers. Break for the day." I said. "Yes, mam." They saluted and bowed. We all burst in to laughter afterward while they held on to my shoulders for support. "Jakki-chan! Wanna eat cake with me?" Mitsukuni-senpai asked cheerily from across the room. Cake? Should I give in to the temptations knowing of the consequences or decline. I haven't eaten cake in awhile...MUST EAT CAKE. "Sure, Mitsukuni-senpai!" I smiled and jogged over to him eagerly. I hope I don't go overboard, but it's cake...it's worth it.
Hikaru and Kaoru's Quick P.O.V
We both glared at Hani-senpai as Jakki jogged over to him. He made eye contact with us and gave an innocent smile, then flickered his eyes back to Jakki. Wait...Jakki is eating cake? Oh, get ready for a show. Cuteness overload....
