Kathy looked around puzzled as to where Nathan was taking her. "Babe, where are we?" Kathy looks at the quiet neighborhood and smiles as she spots a group of kids playing basketball at the end of the street.
"It's a surprise." Nathan smiles at Kathy's pout when he doesn't elaborate.
When Nathan stops in front of a beautiful light blue two story house Kathy looks at him confused. Stepping out of his black Chevy truck Nathan goes to open Kathy's door.
"Nate what's going on?" Kathy nervously asks.
"Lets head inside shall we?" Nathan intertwines his hands with hers.
They walk up the porch steps and Kathy looks around at the wide porch. As they walk in they see dark wooded floor and soft white carpet. All of a sudden Nathan leads Kathy into what looks to be a living room. "What do you think?"
"It looks beautiful Nathan are you thinking of buying it?"
"Yeah I think it's about time I move out."
"Well it seems like a great place, but don't you think it may be a little big?"
"Nah I think we'll be able to fill it pretty soon." Nathan smirks at Kathy as she stares at him in shock.
Getting down on one knee Nathan reaches into his dark wash jean pocket and pulls out a small diamond shape ring, looking up at Kathy with watery eyes. "Katherine Renee Rochelle, I love you with all of my heart, and I want you to be the woman I wake up next to for the rest of my life. We've been through a lot but all that made me realize how strong our relationship is and how we can get through anything. Kitten I don't want you to ever leave me and I never want to leave you. Please marry me?"
"I love you Nathan of course I'll marry you!" Nathan gets up and slides the ring on her tiny fingers as she nods her head happily. Pulling her in Nathan gives her a passionate kiss as cheers break out.
Kathy pulls away and her friends come out of the kitchen applauding.
Everyone congratulates the happy couple and they take a tour of the quaint house. Nathan and Kathy happy hold each other with stars in their eyes, knowing everything will always work out between them and they're meant to be.
Authors Note: That's the end...sorry its not that great I'm just super focused on another story that I've been writing. Hopefully I can rewrite this one day. But please comment and tell me what you think anyway. Have a great day!
