-Lauren's POV-

We were jamming out to the music when I remembered that we were supposed to meet Kenzie today.

"So when we get to the mall, we're going straight to Panera," asked Piper after I voiced this to her.

"Yes."

"How are we going to know who she is?"

I shrugged. I hadn't really thought about that.

"Oh! I have the best Idea EVER!" exclaimed Piper. "Alright, so we make a big sign with her name on it, and stand in the middle of Panera while holding it up. You know what I'm talking about, right? Like the driver guy on the movie 'Big Fat Liar' where the man steals the boys essay and turns it into a movie and takes credit for it. Yeah, we're gonna be like his driver guy. We could even get a driver costume at Party City or something, and wear it. Or we can—"

"Piper. Calm. Down. We could always text her like normal people."

She frowned. "Buzz Kill."

"Oh shut up."

"No. Where's your imagination? Your creativity? Gosh, you're no fun to be around sometimes."

I laughed. "I love you too."

She giggled.

I checked my phone for the billionth time to see if Niall had called or texted me back.

No luck. As usual.

"Hey Piper?"

"Mhm?"

"Have you talked to Niall lately?"

"No. Why?" She answered a little too quickly.

I looked down. "Just wondering."

"Oh."

I turned the music up a little louder, and we drove the rest of the way in silence.

Ten minutes later, we arrived at the mall and walked straight to Panera Bread. We found a table, while I texted Kenzie telling her that we were here.

Piper and I played a few rounds of thumb wars until I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around. Before me stood a girl about 5"5 with brown hair, and blue eyes that looked oddly familiar. She was wearing http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=72292935. I noticed a blue bracelet on her wrist that looked similar to the one I had.

I gasped. "Mackenzie?" I half whispered, half screamed.

"LAUREN!?" She yelled.

We enveloped each other in a huge hug.

"I haven't seen you in like five years!" I yelled.

"I know! You look great!"

"Oh stop, look at you!"

She did a little spin. We laughed, and I grabbed her hand and brought her over to Piper.

"Piper, this is Kenzie. Kenzie, this is Piper, my BEST friend." I smiled.

Kenzie said hi and held out her hand for Piper to shake, but Piper being well...Piper embraced her into a huge hug. When she pulled back, she said, "Sorry! I'm a hugger!"

We all burst into a fit of laughter. When it finally died down, we ordered something and began to get to talk.

"Thanks for agreeing to drive me to the shows."

"No problem!" I replied.

"Yeah. If Lou loves you, we do too!" shouted Piper.

"That rhymes!" We all shouted in unison. We laughed.

"So what's it like dating Louis?" asked Piper.

Kenzie began blushing. "He's the sweetest guy ever. He cares about my feelings and always knows how to make me feel better whenever I'm down. Did I mention he was HIL.ARI.OUS. I love him...a lot."

"Awww. How's the whole long distance thing working out?" I questioned.

"Great! He calls me every day and we face time every night. If I'm not able to talk on the phone he'll text me. He also sends me the most random but sweet texts."

This got me thinking about my relationship with Niall. He doesn't text me every day. He doesn't call me. In fact, he hasn't replied to any of my calls or texts. The few times that we have talked, it's been cut short.

Whatever. He's probably just really busy.

"So Piper, you're Harry's girl, right?"

I looked over to Piper, and I could tell that she was about to burst into tears.
