-Piper's POV-

I swallowed my tears.

It's not her fault. She wouldn't have asked if she knew. I gathered up every bit of courage I had lift in me and shook my head in reply to her question. "We um...broke up." I said hoarsely.

Kenzie's eyes went wide. "Piper, I'm sorry. I didn't know. I thought that—"

"Kenzie, its fine. It's not your fault. You didn't know." I gave her a small smile.

She nodded.

Lauren cleared her throat. "So how about we do some dress shopping, eh?"

"Don't mind if I do." Said Kenzie.

"Let's go!" I prompted.

We walked around a few different shops. At Belk, Kenzie found her dress. It looked beautiful on her.

"Should I take it?, "she asked.

"YES!" shouted Lauren.

"Alright."

We walked up to the cashier  and paid for it.

"Next Stop—Nordstrom." I announced.

We walked arm in arm to the store, and when we got there the most beautiful red dress caught my eye.

"Go try it on Piper!" urged Kenzie.

"I'm going, I'm going."

I walked into the fitting room area and changed into the dress. I looked in the mirror and was shocked by my own appearance. The dress matched my hair perfectly, and brought out my eyes. I walked out of the dressing room and stood before my friends.

They both gasped. "You're getting it." Said Kenzie.

"I sure am." I replied, smiling. "What about you, Lo?"

"I found a dress, but I would rather not try it on here."

I wasn't going to pressure her into it because I knew that she was self-conscious.

"Okay, let's go pay."

"Okay."

We paid and then we were on our way.

"So what do you say, we have a big sleepover?" asked Lauren.

Kenzie and I cheered.

"Okay, we'll go to my house."

"Okay."

During the ride back to Lauren's house, we played a game where we would rap a song, and who ever messed up the words was out. The last person rapping would get something from the other two and would have to pay for lunch on the way to London tomorrow. Lauren ended up winning by the time we arrived at her house.

Kenzie and Lauren sat on the couch, but I began walking towards the bathroom.

"I'm going to go shower. Peace out."

"What's so special about my shower?" asked Lauren.

"Everything." I replied, as they laughed at my failed attempt at winking, then I went on into the bathroom.

This is going to be a great friendship.

-Kenzie's POV-

Lauren and I were the only ones left in the living room.

"So, I heard about your mom...Lou told me." I started.

She looked down.

"It must be so hard."

She nodded. We stayed silent for a couple minutes, and then she began to speak. "I'm trying to be strong for her because she's been so strong for me. I owe her. It's hard."

I nodded. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I just want you to know that I'm here for you whenever you need me."

"Thanks Kenzie." She said, hugging me. We pulled away. "I'm gonna go change!"

"Me too!"

Ten minutes later, we were all back in the living room. (They were wearing http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=72386282 )

"Okay guys. Your movie options are 'The lucky one', 'The Notebook', or we can just watch all the seasons of Hannah Montana. Take your pick," announced Lauren.

"HANNAH MONTANA" Piper and I shouted in unison.

Lauren laughed. "Okay."

We drank our tea and ate our food while watching the first season of Hannah Montana on Netflix.

I already love both of these girls.
