-Lauren's POV-

The next morning around 8 am, we were all ready to go. My mom and Maura were loading the van, and I was trying to call Niall.

It's been almost four days that he hasn't answered my texts or calls. I was starting to believe that he didn't even want me to come anymore. I ran my hands through my hair. Maybe he was just busy—a habit that both Niall and I have. We do it when we're frustrated.

"You okay?" asked Piper.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied, a little too quickly.

"Are you sure?" she asked uncertainly

I nodded. "Oh, don't forget that lunch is on you and Kenzie today."

She frowned.

"I won fair and square." I said laughing.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," she replied as she got into the car. I climbed in after her and shut the door.

"Are you guys ready?" asked my mom.

We all nodded, as we pulled out of the driveway.

For the first two hours, we sang along to all the songs that came on the radio, and played hand games that we all used to play when we were younger.  Maura told stories about Niall when he was younger, which made me laugh. We stopped for lunch at Chic-Fil-A, and ate like pigs. Kenzie and Piper paid for lunch like they had too, and it was great.

We got back in the car, and drove for about an hour and a half more until we arrived at the hotel we'd be staying in.

The concierge led us to our suite. I slid the key trough the slot and opened the door.

"SURPRISE!"

One by one, the boys attacked us with hugs. Louis squeezed the living daylight out of me, and moved on to the other girls, saving Kenzie for last. I hugged the rest of the boys, including Harry, even though it was pretty awkward.

Niall walked towards me. My heart began pounding so hard, you could probably hear it. My palms got sweaty, and I ran my hands through my hair several times.

He hugged me from the side, and kissed my forehead, and then went to say hi to the other girls.

That was it.

No "I love you. I missed you so much."

No excitement on his face.

Just an emotionless expression.

I bit my lip, holding the tears back as I just stood there by myself.

I thought that him not answering his phone calls or texts hurt, but in all honesty, seeing him stand before me and not care hurt the most.

-Harry's POV-

"SURPRISE!"

All of us boys hugged all the girls.

When  Louis hugged them, it looked like he was suffocating the crap out of them.

I hugged Lo first, which was sufficiently awkward. I knew she hadn't forgotten the events that took place a couple days ago, but I just want to move forward.

I hugged Kenzie, who I recognized as Louis' girl.

That's when I saw her.

Piper.

My face burned with fury, hurt, and resentment all in one. I want to forgive her.

I want to love her again.

I just don't think that I can do that right now.

Not so soon.

We stared into each other's eyes for a second and I hugged her with one arm and walked away. I couldn't take this.

-Lauren's POV-

I walked out to the balcony while everyone was catching up inside, and just broke down. I'm being avoided and I don't know why. What could I have possibly done wrong in just one month? I would never do anything to hurt Niall, and he promised me that he would never do anything to hurt me, but this hurt pretty badly.

I leaned against the balcony fence and looked over it.

I was lost deep in tought, when someone tapped me on the shoulder.

I turned around, startled.

"Are you okay?" he asked.
