Chapter Eight

Its Friday girls/guys night. All the guys going out to a bar as the girls stay in at Kamyas and Shawn house.
" Bae ima bout to meet the guys at the bar I'll see you when I get home okay" Shawn said as he kissed her bye.
"Bye bae be safe" Kamaya said as she walked him to the door.
" Will do, I love you"
" I love you too bye"
Twenty minutes after Shawn left the girls was pulling up at Shawn and Kamaya apartment. Meanwhile the girls was just getting to Kamaya and Shawn's house the guys was having drinks at tonic bar.
" So what's good in the hood?" Shawn asked everyone.
" A nigga stressing over here" Sedric said
" Shit you, nigga me" Brandon said
" I just want 'Lissa back"
" Tj my man you gonna have to work hard for that" Shawn said
"Not only that but Alyssa claim she pregnant"
" Nigga I hope you wrapped that shit up" Sedric said
" Plus Lissa pregnant too"
"Man what you gonna do about Alyssa?" Brandon said
" I don't know, but I know that aint my baby" Tj said as he downed his vodka tonic.
" Let me tell you what happened at my cousin Antwan barbeque"
" What?"
" My cousin antwan came on to mo' so I defended her and we ended up fighting"
" For real?"
" Then he had the audacity to say I can't please my woman in bed and how he can do better"
" I would've beat that nigga ass too"
" Shit you got drama" Sedric said " How about Stacy cousin Natasha came on to me at her moms get together where we announced her pregnancy" Sedric said
" Did you tell stacy?" The guys asked
" Nawl she pregnant and I don't wanna stress her and I wanna tell her but how man?" Sedric said
" Damn"
Meanwhile they was talking back at the kamaya's house. Stacy was explaining what happen at her dads and at the restaurant.
"So they just kicked y'all out?"
"Yes"
" Damn that's fucked up, do they even wanna be in their grandchildren life?" Mo'nique asked
" I don't know or care and not only my parents acted like Sedric's did the same they did even want us in their presence." Stacy said
" Guess who decides to show up on my door step?"
" Girl who?"
"Shawn ex Tristan"
"What she want?"
" To get shawn back girl"
" What you said I know it was some slick" mo'nique said
" Told she can't have him and that we getting married flashing my ring" Kamaya said
"Y'all want drama how about brandon and his cousin Antwan got into a fight at the barbeque" mo'nique said
"Why?" Melissa asked
Meanwhile mo'nique was explaining what happened Kamaya zoned out of the convo.

Flashback
Kamaya and Tyler was at the movies.
"Bae ima going to get the popcorn okay?" Kamaya said
"Hurry back" Tyler said as she got up from her seat to go to the concession stand.. After purchasing the popcorn a guy named Xavier approached her.
"Hey beautiful what's your name?"
"Kamaya"
" and yours"
"Xavier"
Meanwhile they was having a short conversation. Tyler gets up from his seat to see what's taking his girlfriend so long to get popcorn.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS KAMAYA!"
" We was just talking tyler calm down"
" ima sitting here in the  waiting for you and you out here being a ho lets go" Tyler said as he grabbed her snatching her away from xavier.
"Tyler let go your hurting me!" Kamaya said
" You ain't seen hurt" Tyler said
" Aye man she said let her go" xavier intervened.
"Mind your own business"
"This is my business"
"Oh it is" Tyler said
"Yea now let her go"
" iight" Tyler said as he let her go and punched Xavier in the mouth. "I told you to mind your own business"
Once Kamaya and tyler was at his house they went in and sat down..
"So you gonna disrespect me like that by being all in that nigga face"
" Tyler it wasn't even like that"
" What's it's like then?"
Before Kamaya could even respond he backed handed and keep beating her until she was almost unconscious. After he beat her, he dragged her out his house and on the curb left for dead. Lucky an old lady named Perkins found her and called the 911 to save her. Every since that night he beat for every and anything that you could think of. After years of beating Kamaya and her parents disappear from Harlem, New York and moved to Atlanta where she meet Shawn.
End of flashback
"Kamaya why you so quite what's wrong?" Mo'nique asked
"Nothing just thinking "
" About what?" Stacy asked
"Nothing major"
"Come on Maya we your girls you can tell us anything" Melissa said
" promise not to tell any body not even the guys especially not Shawn"
"We promise"
Meanwhile Kamaya was explaining her past to the girls. Tyler had just receive information on where Kamaya is located.
" yo you got that info I need?" Tyler asked his best friend Jeff.
" Its all in the folder for you"
" Good that bitch gonna pay" tyler said as he was on his way to Atlanta Georgia.
