So if you’re looking for a good romance book, keep reading. If not, wait until I post another teen romance. For now, I’d like to do an actual romance. Now this is how it’s going to work, I’m putting two books up here.
Halfway to the grave- a vampire romance between a vamp hunter and a vamp.
The unwanted wife- it’s a regular romance that I read on my kindle. I’m not sure if its, you know, a real book but its easily one of my favorite romances.
I’ll start with halfway to the grave. I really liked this book. I stumbled into it when I was just starting to read real romance novels and I kinda felt a little naughty reading it, you know? I didn’t even want my mom to know about it though she found out anyway. I’d say it’s a good one to start out with. The steamy scenes aren’t too graphic and the author is pretty good. It’s well written and it can be found easily. I’d definitely recommend it.
Summary (There may be some spoilers, sorry):
Catherine, Cat, was sixteen when she started to hunt vampires. Being half vampire herself made it rather easy. That is, until she found Bones. Now Bones isn’t like any vampire she’s ever met before. He just radiates power. Still, she goes after him. She feels when a person is a vamp and her spidey senses are tingling. She goes in with seduction guns blazing. Actually, no I’m lying to you. She doesn’t have much experience with men, the only man she was with took her v card and ran off, and so she wasn’t very good at it. Beware, there is embarrassment. She lures Bones into her car where she usually killed the vampires she lured in with her boobies. It’s a wonder what cleavage can do. He is easily way more powerful than she is so he overpowers her when she tries to kill him and he knocks her out. She wakes up in a cave where Bones proceeds to question her. You know, the usual “Who sent you?” She’s confused, she doesn’t know who he is at this point, so she instead dares him to a battle or duel, if you prefer. She almost wins, turns out that she has talent with throwing knives, so he gains some respect for her and offers her the chance to hunt vampires with him. He is some kind of vamp bounty hunter that is a vamp. Funny, isn’t it? He offers to train her and let her have the chance of killing some really dangerous vamps instead of the newborns she was killing before. I won’t ruin the rest for you, I think you already know the romantic interest and it has a somewhat sad ending but it’s fixed in the sequel. It’s a good book. If you’re looking to break into vampire romance, you should read it.
In my grade book, I give it a B+.
This is already a little long so I’ll have The Unwanted Wife in my next post.
Keep an eye on the horizon (Can anyone tell me where that quote is from? Maybe it’s a little vague. Clue: Johnny Depp is in this movie)
Hope you liked it and will read it.
My best regards,
BabyDy10 (I’m not giving my real name so easily)
