Living_Free, there's a note at the end for you. Nosy people, there's a note for you too.
THE UNWANTED WIFE by Natasha Anders
[I'm going to start putting the genre of each book up so you'll know if you're interested although I suggest reading the review anyway cause it's interesting]
Genre: Romance
I mentioned it before in another review but I forgot to do it. I'm doing it now. It's a really good romance. It's so emotional and it holds a bunch of drama. The only thing I didn't like was the vocabulary. Because I once had a vocab obsessed freak for a teacher, I could keep up with Natasha Anders' word choice. However, it seemed like she used the thesaurus for every other word. If you have a kindle in the first place, like I said I'm not sure it's available anywhere else but ebook, you can just look up the word by highlighting it if you don't get what she was saying. So I think it's worth it. I'm not sure why she did it because it's rather amateur to have such a weird dialect if it's not the natural way you talk but whatever. It was still good and it's a 'real' romance. So I guess I recommend it. It made me cry for the characters. It frustrated me. And it really served it's purpose as a romance book.
I give it a B+. The word choices bugged me but I'm not sure you'll care as much. I'm just picky.
Summary (Spoilers. Kind of):
Tessa is tired of being in a marriage where her husband doesn't care about her. Every single time they make love, he utters five words as he finishes. The most insulting words that drives Tessa farther away from him every times he utters them. In the time the story starts, she is done hearing those wretched five words. But Tessa has her own five words. She wants a divorce and nothing is going to stop her from getting it. Tessa is horrified and shocked to discover some of her husband's secrets, along with some secrets her father was hiding; the father that never took the time to even hug her or express any sort of love. It turns out that Tessa is simply a pawn in a game between her husband and her father, two men that seemingly could not care less about her. Tessa receives another shock though. Just as she thought it couldn't get worst, a single pink line horrifies her beyond belief. Though Tessa loves her husband dearly despite everything, she can't live with the emotional abuse any longer. But her husband is about to find out what a shock the word 'divorce' can bring. Can he let her go? Has the man of ice finally melted enough to love? And is Tessa willing to take any apology for those married years of hell that her husband put her through? Read and find out :)
It's a pretty good book. I reread it often and it doesn't disappoint. I believe that it's free on kindle too so that's always a plus.

For Living_Free and any other nosy person reading this, I'm putting up two reviews for you because I let you down with the fake chapter saying that I needed help on my stories and because you comment on pretty much every chapter. So yeah. I wrote these two for you.For the nosy person, hi. How's it goin'?
Also, I don't know if you guys don't already know this, but I recently made a Facebook account. Yes, I know I'm behind on the times. If you're interested in becoming friends, please feel free to let me know. I'll tell you my Facebook name. If I can get some people interested, I'll start putting status updates on when I'll update since I'm becoming very inconsistent with that. So yeah. I hope you liked it!
