The thought of katniss and I's conversation last night is heart breaking. I know she is worried about Willow and this war is frightening us to death but we have to fight. I've gone down to training with Finnick, sitting on the wall loading our guns waiting for a new target down the other end of the room. "How's katniss taking all of this then?" He asks and u sigh. "Honestly... not too well. The fear of loosing more people and possibly willow is scaring her. The nightmares have got worse. She is barely sleeping. They know she is not fit for action but here we are" Finnick just stares. "I'm sorry... Annie is the same. Is is scared of me leaving I guess we have to try our best to get back to them" what more is to say? Finnick and I are lost for words.

After training we were dragged to command to have a meeting with coin. "As you are aware with what is at stake and those stakes are getting so much higher and that is why we are sending you both out tomorrow on a mission. I'm sorry" I just stare at her. I don't know what to do. "What about katniss?" I ask worried.
"Katniss will be staying here with willow until we see fit to send her out. We need to show that you, Peeta are alive and recover well. Strength is important" this is a relieve and a curse. "Katniss has been informed. 04:15am tomorrow, sharp"
Tomorrow it is.
