Chapter 13

Chloe's P.O.V

As i was running to Charlie's flat I couldn't help but wonder what happened to Leo over the summer. He never acted that way last year, and I want to know what changed him. Ten minutes after running I finally make it to Charlie's house. I knocked, trying to act fine on the outside but on the inside i had questions running through my head, what happened to him, why did he hurt me, did h-. My thoughts were interrupted by the door opening.

Snapping back to reality, I put on a fake smile when I saw Charlie. I wanted a real smile when I saw Charlie, but i couldn't. Not after what Leo did. Charlie brought me into a hug.

"I missed you so much Chloe." He said as he realised me from the hug.

"I missed you to Charlie." I smiled as he opened the door wider so I can come in.

"Hey um where's Lucy?"

"She's in my room." he said as he walks up the stairs with me following behind. We walk in and I sat in silence.

"Chloe what's wrong." Lucy says

"It's Leo he has changed, like a lot." Charlie and Lucy look at each other.

"What did he do? And we want the truth Chloe." said Charlie. I looked at them, tears forming in my eyes.

"He hurt me, he moved on and he hurt me." Charlie clenched his fists and grabbed his keys. I got up to go after him but Lucy stopped me.

"Chloe tell me every thing he did." I look into her eyes and just started crying. She pulled me into a tight hug.

"I'm scared" i cried into Lucy shoulder. I showed her my wrists, that were black and blue. She gasped and grabbed her phone.

"Wait here." She said to. I simply nodded.

She walked out if the room and i think downstairs. It's been like 5 minutes since she left so i decided to be nosey.

"Charlie he has gotten worse... What are we going to do... I didn't think he would hurt the one he loved... Yes he did... Okay i'll see you soon... Bye." I ran back upstairs and sat down on Charlie's bed.

"Sorry I just had to call Charlie real fast." I nodded and sat there in silence. Tears threatened to come as i reminded myself about earlier.

"Were did Charlie go?" I croaked out

"He went to go talk to Leo."

"I'm so scared." I cried out. Lucy rushed over and hugged me.

"Shh... Lets go watch a movie yea?" I nodded

30 Minutes later.

We were sitting on the couch eating some ice cream, when we heard the door slam shut. Lucy sat up to see who it was. She came running back over to.

"Chloe I need you to go and hide okay."

"What, why? What's going on?"

"CHLOE JUST GO!" She yelled as she pushed me up the stairs. She led me into the bathroom and closed the door.

"WHERE IS SHE!"Someone yelled. I opened the door just a bit and saw Leondre walking up the stairs. I quickly closed the door and stayed silent.

"LEO SHE'S NOT HERE!"

"NO I KNOW SHE IS HERE, SHE HAS TO BE!" I looked at the window that was in the bathroom. I opened it and started to climb out. I was almost out but then my foot hit the shampoo, and it fell making a loud noise. The door swung open and revealed Leondre clenching his fists. I ran out the window and down random streets. When I thought I lost him, I stopped running and sat down.

"Finally gave up I see." I looked up to see Leondre standing there smirking. I got up and ran as fast as I could. Leondre chasing after me. I take a sharp turn and fell, but i quickly get up and start running again. I find an old abandoned place and run inside hiding.

"CHLOE WHERE ARE YOU!" He yelled making it echo throughout the place. I could hear his footprints coming closer. Once he passed me I was planning on making a run for it back to Charlie's. I was getting ready to run but my phone went off, I quickly turned it off and ran. I stop running and looked around noticing that I was lost. I look around and see Leondre looking at me from the balcony.

I start to run away from the building. As I kept looking back I see no sign of Leondre. I turned back around and bumped into someone or something. I look up to see him. Why him. I thought he was long gone?

"How?"

"Oh babe it's easy to escape right? He smirked.

"W-what do y-you want?" I chocked out. He was stepping closer to me and each time I would step back.

"Oh isn't it obvious Chloe. I want you."

"Leave me alone please." I started crying and walking backwards.

"Oh I don't think I can do that. You see me and your 'ex boy-friend' well we teamed up together." I gave him a confused look. "Come on out so she understand better Yea?" I turn around and see Leondre coming towards us.

"Did you really think you could get away from us?" Leondre chuckled as he came towards me. I was trapped between two tall boys.

"Please I-i just want to go h-home." I begged.

"Sorry can't let that happen. Blake grab her." He did as he was told.

"Okay take her back to the place and make sure she doesn't escape." I look into Leondre's eyes and they were a black colour. Fear took over me and I started to cry more.

"Chloe will you shut up." Blake slapped me and i kicked him in his gut and made a run for it. I turn around and see Blake getting up and sprinting after me. I didn't have a lot of energy left in me so it was a little hard to run. He caught up to me and threw me to the ground. I groaned in pain because i hit my arm pretty badly.

"Please don't hurt me." I begged to him and scooted away. I was getting up, but he pushed me back down.

"I wouldn't get up if I were you." He smirked. I turn around and see Leondre walking towards me with something hidden behind his back.

"Are you going to hurt me?" I asked Leondre. He smirked and walked over to Blake. He handed him the object that was behind his back. A smirk started forming on Blake's face. Leondre moved out of the way and Blake walked over to me. He pulled out a knife and smirked.

"Revenge is really good, don't you agree Chloe?" I shook my head with fear. He put the knife up to my neck and pulled it away. He took my arm and cut it. I screamed which earned me a slap.

"Stop please." I cried out, blood trickling down my arm and onto a cloth he had set down. He took the knife again and did the same but to my leg this time. I screamed out in pain and then everything turned black.
