Chapter 14

Leondre's P.O.V

What have I done? She's never going to want to look me in in the eye's. I don't know why I did it. I guess I was just jealous. But the worst part is that I am now working for Blake. And if I don't listen to him he will hurt Chloe more. I'm only doing this for her.

Chloe's P.O.V

I woke up in the hospital with my head hurting like hell. I look at my surroundings and find Leondre sleeping on the chairs. I grabbed one if the pillows from behind me and threw it at him. He shot up instantly and looked at me.

"Oh my god your finally awake, i was so worried and-"Leondre said before i cut him off.

"Why are you here, you hurt me." I said

"Look Chloe I didn't have a choice okay. It was either him hurting you or me protecting you." He said as he grabbed my hand but I jerked away.

I shook my head in disbelief." Leo just leave please, I don't want to see you anymore."

"Chloe please I was protecting you from danger, I didn't want y-"

"Leo leave." He didn't move "Now!" He looked at me one last time before he left.

Next Day

I just got released from the hospital and I'm just sitting down with Lucy watching Netflix.

"So Chloe there is this Halloween dance at school, do you want to come?" Lucy said as she paused the movie we were watching to look at me.

"Sure why not." I looked at her and smiled.

"Okay then we need to go shopping like now because it's tomarrow night."

"What! You could have noticed me before." I looked at her and crossed my arms.

"Sorry but um." She said refering to what happened like one or two nights ago.
