Chapter 22

Chloe's P.O.V

"Gabriel hurry up your going to be late!" I called out.

"Bloody hell I told you not to yell at me!" Gabriel yelled in my face and slapped me. I stumbled back a little, close to falling.

"I'm sorry but your going to be late." I spat. He balled his fist and brought it to my cheek. I fell to the floor not looking at the monster who leaves me bruises.

"Get up and clean the house you slut." He spat and slammed the door. I stood up and walked over to the window. I watched him leave down the street.

"What did I ever do to deserve this?" I sobbed and grabbed my keys. I'm not staying with him anymore. I sat in my car for a second before starting it. Half way down the road I saw car following me. I ignored it and kept driving.

I reached my destination and knocked on there door. Charlie opened the door smiling, but his smile quickly changed into a frown when he saw my face.

"Chloe what the hell happened to you?!" He questioned. You could tell by his face that his expression was shocked.

"What are you talking about?" I told him lying even though I knew exactly what he was talking about.

"You face there is a huge bruise." He said and brought his hand up to my cheek. I jerked back a little shutting my eyes tightly. "Lucy, Leo come here." Charlie shouted behind him.

They both showed up at the door with the same exact expression as Charlie.

"Chloe who did this to you?" Leo asked. I looked at the ground and didn't say anything.

"It was Gabriel wasn't it." Lucy stated. Once again I didn't say anything.

"Who's Gabriel?" Leo and Charlie asked in sync. Lucy scoffed and shook her head.

"He's her b-" I cut her off before she could finish.

"Cousin, he is my cousin." I rushed to say.

"No Chloe stop lying." Lucy demanded.

I looked up, "Gabriel is my boy friend." Leo's eyes widen and became glossy.

"Wait you boy friend did this to you, what the fxck!" Charlie yelled making me flinch.

"You need to break up with him. Because you know he is just another Blake." Lucy stated whilst getting furious.

"Gabriel didn't do this to me okay."I lied.

Everyone rolled there eyes at me.

"Then what the hell happened to you, and we want the truth." Leo said.

I turned my head a little so I could look at him in the eyes. "I was walking around the park and a ball hit th-" My phone started ringing cutting me off. Gabriel. I mentally cursed to myself before answering.

"Hello?" I said sweetly walking away from the others.

"Where the hell are you. I told you to clean the fxcking house." He yelled through the phone.

"I-I went out to get something."

"Ha you fxcking liar. I bet your hanging around with some guy you slut." Tears started brimming my eyes.

"I'll be home soon okay." I said whilst blinking away the tears.

"You're going to get it when you come back." he said bitterly and hung up.

I quickly turn around being frightened about what will happen when I reach home.

(A/N) Gabriel and Chloe live together BTW)

"Hey I have to go something important came up." I said and walking over to my car. My palms became sweaty.

10-20 minutes later

I pulled up into the driveway scared out of my mind. All the sudden my door flew open.

"Get out of the car you slut!" Gabriel yelled and yanked on my wrist.

"Ow your hurting me," I cried trying to pull my wrist out of his tight hold. He forcefully pushed me inside the house. I stood up and ran to the back door. Tears pouring down my cheeks making my vision blurry.

I made to the back door jiggling the door knob to find it locked. I cursed under my breath and turned around only to be collided with Gabriel's chest.

"Please don't just leave me alone please." I sobbed. My back went against the locked door. He chuckled and punched my stomach, I fell to the floor trying to catch my breath. He started kicking me repeatedly.

"Lights out baby girl." He said then everything went black.

2 hours later

I woke up from my phone ringing

. I grabbed it out of my pocket and answered it not caring to look at the contact ID.

"Hello?" My voice raspy.

"Fxck Chloe I called you a thousand times and you didn't answer. I thought you were hurt or something..." A familiar voice rambled. Leo, it was Leo's voice. I stood up and groaned when pain shot through my body. Walking up to the mirror I saw that blood was covering my face.

"Oh my god." I gasped and started sobbing.

"Chloe are you okay, whats wrong?" Leo asked frantically.

"Just... Can you come over please and only you." I said and hung up.

Minutes later there was a knock at the door. Taking a deep breath before opening the door. I kept my head low making sure not to show any of my face.

"Hey why did you ask me to come over?" he questioned. Slowly I lifted my head up and he gasped. "Chloe what... what the hell happened to you!"

"Gabriel he... he came home early and he got mad so he beat me and knocked me out with something. I don't want to be with him but he won't let me leave him. He just fxcking scares me and relationships shouldn't be like that." I cried out. Leo's arms wrapped around my as he held me in a hug.

"There is no way you are staying here. Come on you can stay with Lucy and Charlie." Leo said and grabbed my hand.

"No I-I can't go. He... he will find me and me even more than he did earlier." I said pushing him out the door.

"Chloe stop!" Leo yelled making me flinch. "I'm not having you stay here with him. Do you know how hard bad it hurts to see the one you love in so much pain. Or that she is even afraid to do the right thing and leave. It hurts to know that you, an amazing girl, beautiful, talented girl has an environment like this. SO I don't care what you say you are coming with." He stated. Tears were pouring down my cheeks. i nodded and walked out the door.

We soon arrived at Lucy's and once again my palms became sweaty. I realized that I still had blood on my face.

"Leo I can't going there." I gasped. He grabbed my hand and held it tight.

"It's going to be fine I promise." He said and leaned over the seat to kiss my cheek.
