Chapter 18

Leondre's P.O.V

It was midnight and I was sitting on a bench. Chloe went to go get some hot chocolate, but she's been gone for awhile. All of the sudden I hear a bloodcurdling scream. I got up and walked towards the scream, but it seemed that the scream came from everywhere. I don't know why but that scream sounds familiar, why does it sound so familiar? Then it hit me, it was Chloe's Scream! I started walking through an ally. I saw a person lying on the ground. I walk closer to the body and notice it's Chloe's.

I kneel down by her side hoping she would notice me, but she didn't. Something was wrong. Very wrong. I grab her wrist and try to find a pulse. I didn't. I started to shake her like a little kid. She's gone. Dead. The love of my life is dead. How. Why. What did she do to deserve this. She did nothing wrong.

"Leo." I didn't answer "Leo!"

"Leo!" I shot up and noticed i was sweating. "Leo are you okay?" I turn my head and see Chloe crying.

"Um yea. Why are you crying." I said as I wiped away her tears with my thumb.

"My leg and arm, t-they... they hurt." She started sobbing as I gave her hug.

I released her from the hug and stood up. I walked over to the other side of the bed; I picked her up bridal style and walked over to her restroom. I sat her down on the counter and grabbed a wet cloth. I started to take off her bandages; she closed her eyes every time it hurt. I took my free hand and grabbed hers; I gave it a small squeeze to tell her that she is okay.

We were currently sitting in the living room playing with our hands. I smiled every time she would giggle. The door opened and closed.

"Chloe we're home!" Someone said as two people walk into the living room. I noticed one was Brooklyn and the other was a man. "Oh hi Leo, how are you?"

"I'm fine thank you." I said smiling. She smiled back and her eyes trailed down to my arm.

"Oh my gosh Leo what happened to your arm?" She walked over to a chair and sat down.

"Oh um nothing bad." I hesitated and she noticed but didn't asked. I look over at Chloe and see was starting to shake a little. Her sister must of noticed cause she walked over to Chloe.

"Chloe are you alright?" Brooklyn questioned. Chloe looked at her then the mysterious man. I grabbed her hand and gave it a small squeeze. She looked at me and shook her hand. "Chloe?"

"Nothing's wrong." Chloe said looking at the ground. Her sister looked at me and I nodded which means I will text what's wrong.

"Okay. I am leaving soon on a date with Connor." She said looking behind her at the mysterious man who is Connor I suppose.

"Okay." Chloe said as she mumbled something else. He sister looked at me and gave me a look that said 'take good care of her or I'll kill you.' I nodded as her and Connor left the room. Chloe had finally looked up and had glossy eyes. I got up and lifted her bridal style so we can go to the kitchen.

"Chloe you know your going to have to tell her sometime." I said as I looked down at her. She nodded and hid her face in my shirt. I walked over to the table and sat her down. I went over to the fridge and got out some juice. I walked over to the cabinet. "Chloe do you want some?" She shook her head. I grabbed a glass and poured me some juice.

I sat down next to Chloe and sat there quietly. It was really awkward and not the best kind of awkward. "Leo?" Chloe's voice croaked. I turned to look at her and noticed how sad she was.

"Chloe what is it?" I asked worried.

"I-i'm... I'm sorry." She cried out. I knitted my eyebrows together wondering what she was talking about.

"What are you talking about?" She was looking at her wrists. I took her arm in my hand and rolled up her sleeves. There were cuts all over her arm. I felt my eyes water, she added more than the last time I saw her arm. I brought her arm to my lips and kissed every single cut. Once done I looked at Chloe and gave her a quick peck on the lips as I watched her smile and blush.

"Leo is it true?" She asked.

"Is what true?"

"You and Kimberly went on a date and admitted to her that you didn't love me." She said.

"No not true at all you know I would never say that okay. You mean the world to me why would I ever day that. You should also know that I really do love you." I looked at her for a second and kissed her. I pulled away from the kiss and whispered to her.

"I love you, forever and always." I gave a peck on the lips.

"I love you to." She smiled at me. I looked at her in the eyes and grinned. Trying to play it cool on the outside when on the inside I'm screaming. (Sounds like a fan girl.) The girl I love, loves me back. Nothing can ever make me more happier.
