Kris

After the funeral we all went to the repast then I headed home with Kay.

She didn't wanna be alone at the moment so I decided that my company would be good for her right now.

She is seriously in love wit' ya boy...can you blame her though?

To be honest, I've been thinking about some things these past few weeks.

I want Kay to move in, but I don't know if it's the right move.

My mama has warned me about letting a girl come into your place and calling it "home".

I've definitely been contemplating on this for a minute, and what better way then to ask the ones who have gone through this before.

Unlike me though...these people didn't even think twice about it. Nah, gotta have a much different approach.

I want Kay to be more than a visitor when she comes over. Hell I want us to be more then what we are now.

Then again, my mama also said that I shouldn't move a girl in until I'm ready to put a ring on her finger.

Kay is definitely the wifey type, and I'd hate to ask this, but how can I be so sure?

Well, it has almost been a year, and we trust each other to the fullest extent possible...well I think she does.

There's a thin line between love and hate, plus with all the crap that happened last year she's slightly still over the border.

I'm trying my hardest to bring her back onto the love side, just to show her that I'm here for her and that I'm ready for anything life can throw our way.

Kay is a wonderful girl and would make the best girlfriend in the whole world! I guarantee that.

I just really need to talk to someone about this before I make my decision.

I look over at Kay who is sleeping peacefully on the right side of my king size bed.

I get up from the bed and walk out of the room, closing the door behind me.

I walk into the kitchen and prop myself against the sink and pull out my phone.

Since my sister, Krissy, is the first person I can think of that has gone through this type of situation I need to speak with her first.

Plus, we have an amazing relationship with one another. She's not only my sister, but she's my ride or die and best friend.

I'd kill a nigga over her. Just don't fuck wit' her or you'll get fucked up.

I tap the call icon on her contact and put it up to my ear and wait for her to answer.

"Hello big brother," her sweet angelic voice bellowed.

"Hello my sweet baby sister,"

While I'm about to attend my Senior year at GSU, my sister is about to be a Sophomore.

She giggles. "Well how are you? And where's Little Gorgeous?" She asked, preferring to Kay's nickname that her, my mom, and aunt gave her.

"She's just in the room asleep. The funeral was today as you know, sooo I thought that she shouldn't be alone and I suggested that she'd come over here for the night,"

"Yeah, I know. I texted her earlier but she never responded," my sister sighed. She always hated when Kay became very agitated and depressed about something.
