Two weeks later...

These past two weeks have been absolutely amazing. Me and Kris have had nonstop sex since the night of his birthday, and let me say, his stroke game is amazing.
It's not even like we're having sex, it feels more as if we're making love. And that is the most amazing feeling.
As for everyone else, they are more than happy with our relationship. His mother and aunt were the most excited I believe. For the past two weeks me and my mom have been discussing things for our wedding. But, what I want is to wait at least a year before we get married, or maybe more.
This is what me and Kris must discuss. Being together and getting married is one happy thing, but actually knowing the right time to finally get married.
"Good morning hubby." I cooed, kissing Kris's cheek.
His eyes fluttered open, making him rub them. He looked up at me and smiled, showing his pretty white teeth.
"Good morning my beautiful future wife." He said, yawning.
I backed away so he was able to get up and wash his face. I fixed breakfast for us to have on this beautiful Friday morning.
Kris had to work while I had today and tomorrow off. He still had his job at the warehouse, and it brought in some good money.
"Come on sleepyhead."
"You fixed breakfast?" He asked, wiping his face with a clean towel.
Did I mention I also did the laundry at five this morning?
I nodded my head and motioned for him to follow me into the kitchen.
He grabbed onto my waist and I interlocked our fingers. He started planting his warm kisses on my neck as we walked through the kitchen and into the dining room.
I heard him sniff his plate that was on the table.
"Mmm, damn girl. All this food. Tryna make a nigga gain weight ain't it?" He asked, rubbing his flat stomach.
"Aye, you may never know wit' my cookin'." I teased, sitting down in my chair he pulled out for me.
"Oh Lord." He groaned playfully, sitting in his chair diagonal from me. "Now let's bless this meal." He said, taking my left hand into his.
I bowed my head and closed my eyes as I waited for him to start.
"Gracious father, thank you for waking me and my lovely future wife up this morning. Most importantly, this meal prepared by her hands. I also thank you for blessing me with such an amazing person you created. I'm more than grateful for the job I have which has let me have a place of my own, food on the table, and clothes on my back. In Jesus name I pray, amen."
"Amen." And with that, we began to converse and eat.
The way he makes my heart jump around, skip multiple beats, the way he makes me laugh and smile. Even makes me mad sometimes, but on days like these when we're in such a good spot, even for weeks at a time, it feels sooo good to know I have someone I can call mine. Someone I trust with all of me and the things that come along.
If the rest of our lives are spent this way, then I'm more than ready to spend the rest of my life with the man of my dreams.
