You're worth the wait: Part Two

"Well..." Kris said, waiting on my answer.

I clutched the key in my hand, held my head down and closed my eyes.

I tried to keep the tears from rolling but it was a little hard.

I know he loves me and I love him too...hell I'm in love with him!

But, I gotta get my heart back in place, gotta get myself back together.

I know I've forgiven everyone who's done me wrong, even Cherry's nasty ass who is still running around the A with everyone else's man, but that doesn't mean that my heart is back to where it's supposed to be.

You guys may think that with the way things are right now between me and Kris, that he's had some sort of impact on me. But I can say that in a way he does.

I just don't think I can really trust anybody fully right now, in due time I will and I know it for sure.

I'm currently in the healing process, so before I go ahead and say yes, I need proper healing first.

I shake my head no and hand him back the key.

"I'm sorry Kris, I really really truly love you. But..." I took in a deep breath then let it out. "The healing process is still going on, and I must mend my heart first before giving you all of me,"

He nodded his head then clinched the key in his hand. "It's okay babe, I understand," he then stood up from the bed and went over to the other side and placed the key on the nightstand.

"You're worth the wait anyway, when you are ready you can tell me," he leaned over and kissed me on my lips then wiped my tear away.

I smiled, "I knew you'd understand. Just thought I'd let you know, because moving in with you is honestly something that I'll be looking forward to,"

He smirked the bit down on his lip.

Awe lord, he's so freakin' arrogant that it's sexy!

"Yeah I know. But I'm hungry, let's go cook,"

"Alright," he then grabbed my hand and we walked to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Maybe even invite Miss Tesia, Krissy, and Miss Renita over.

I'll be sure to run the idea of it by him while we're halfway through.

I swear if this is the man that God has intended for me to marry, then I'm ready and willing to spend the next sixty plus years with him!

It is now going on six thirty and Carlos is nowhere to be found!

I've called him several times and he has yet to pick up.

Like I know he has Riah and all, but the last time I checked, he was basically done with trying to wife her hoe ass down.

He's really gettin' on my nerves though with not answering his damn phone.

We had a date tonight for the movies. It's not a date date, but it's something that I've been looking forward to since he proposed the idea back in Hawaii on the night we had sex.

Visions of me riding his thick, hot and blazing rod keep popping back up into my mind and dancing around like an Easter bunny hyped off of crack rocks or some shit.

I sigh heavily after the eighth time in trying to contact his phone.

Chastity, Kori, and Kameron are all gone to Florida for the summer.
