Kris
Grabbing Kay's hand and placing it in mine, I softly plant a kiss on it. It's been two hours since the incident, two hours since I last heard Kay's sweet voice. It wasn't a pleasant time, but it was the last moment of her being awake.
I planted kisses all over her hand and face.
From the impact of my elbow, the hardwood table and floor, it caused Kay to lose instant consciousness. Doctor said she should awaken within the next four hours, so far it's been two.
I sigh deeply, releasing her hand. "Two more to go." I mumble to myself.
I place my head into my hands, leaning forward in the chair. Somehow, I feel as if all of this shit is my fault, then again I know all blame falls on that light skinned shit bag. Bum ass nigga.
Never touch me and not think I'an gone retaliate on ya' bitch ass.
I blow out a tiring breath, looking up at Kay's face. Only bruise she had was a busted lip, inside and out. But, it did nothing to stop her beauty. She was still as beautiful as the day we met.
Me and the fam gathered around earlier and prayed. Prayed that she was alright and would make it out alive.
Leaning my head down, I place it in my lap.
Thoughts of the incident which happened two hours ago replay over and over in my head. The screaming, glasses being tossed everywhere, me throwing ole' boy across the room like his life didn't matter. I admit it, I was a mad man...at least for the right reasons though.
After the fight and everyone explaining what happened, Chezz, Chazz, Cynthia, Tom, and Dairy shit got arrested.
They let me go in terms of self-defense. I was happy to say the least; more of my concerns fell on Kay's behalf and what happened to her.
Now, I'm here, sad as shit because I coulda seriously lost my girl. There's no way in hell I'd even be sitting here right now if I did.
Nothing else is on my mind right now but the well-being of Kastynn. Other than one thing that's bothering me...her cousins Emerald and Daniella.
They were at the restaurant when the incident happened. And she wasn't by herself either, she was with some female that didn't look familiar at all.
I shrugged it off though. Don't really know why it was sitting in the pit of my stomach, messin' wit' a nigga thoughts and shit.
A knock sounds on the door and I look up to see Kiki ad Kapri entering the room with a bouquet of flowers.
"Hey Kris. How you feelin' bro'?" Kiki asked me as she sat on Kay's bed, then Kapri sat next to me.
"Like honorable shit." I replied truthfully.
She chuckled then shook her head.
"What's so funny?"
"Shit can't be honorable dude." Kapri responded, causing me to give her a death glare. At instant contact they both stopped talking.
Kiki cleared her throat, sitting the flowers on the table next to Kay's bed. She leaned in then kissed her forehead.
"This is so fucked up. I wanna kill Darrio so bad." Kapri chimed, shaking her head.
"Psh." I scoffed. "Not as bad as I do. I will shoot that muhfucka toe off, stick it in his mouth and watch him swallow it. Then snatch out his eyes, sew them to his lips, so he watch what the fuck he doin' and who he touchin' on." I finished.
