Kay
I kissed Kory's forehead and rubbed his back before me and Darrio left out of his room and went back downstairs.
When we got here I decided to give him a bath and rock him to sleep. Darrio told me not treat him like a baby, because when I'm not around he's gonna want everyone in the house to treat him like one, and that's the last thing they all need.
I went and plopped down on the couch, taking the remote and flipping the channel to Investigation Discovery.
I was really hoping that the show Deadly Women would be on, but I guess Fatal Vows will do for now.
The sound of the microwave went off and I looked up to see Darrio grabbing the popcorn out of it.
He shut off the lights to the kitchen and came back into the living room to join me on the couch.
I kicked off my shoes and propped my feet on his legs.
"The fuck is this?" Darrio asked as he stuffed some popcorn in his mouth.
"Fatal Vows,"
"Awe, this that shit my mama be watchin'. Always got a nigga thinkin' she gon' kill one of us one day," he said making me laugh.
"Mama a G, fuck you mean," I told him. I then looked over at him munching down on the popcorn.
He looked up at me and smirked. "If you wanted some you shoulda asked,"
"Well can I have some?"
"Open ya' mouth then,"
I didn't really trust him so I gave him a little stank face and shook my head. He chuckled and handed the bag to me.
The only people I've let feed me was Kapri, Kiki, Amarion, Cherry, Kori, and Kris.
That was the time that I thought I could trust people, but it seemed like one of them were letting somebody else feed her...and it wasn't anything edible either.
I'ma sip my tea and go on about my business.
"So, lemme ask you somethin'," Darrio said, cutting the tv down and turning to face me.
"Okay," I turned my body towards him and folded my legs Indian style. "Ask me,"
"It's about ya' cousin Kiki and that nigga she used to date, Carlos Santana."
"What about them?" I asked, raising my left eyebrow high in the air.
"Did ya' ever find out why he was beatin' on her like that?"
I shook my head no. No one never really knew what drove him to do such a disastrous thing to my cousin.
She's healed from it now though. I just hate how she did that bullsh*t on the trip.
She should've just waved him off and left him alone--or suggested to be friends. Then again, she probably thought that she would nerve hear the end of it from everyone who knew about the situation. Which is true.
I'm still slowly getting over what happened, shit ain't easy. Things never are.
Look at the crap I went through last year. A backstabbing best friend, her groupie ass friends who hate you. Alcohol suddenly becomes your best friend, and you almost get hit with an assault charge because of your dumbass mistakes.
