Under the stars (A captain swan fan fiction)

Chapter 1: Summer day

   Ruby and I looked out the window, "I wonder how old their kids are..." Ruby thought out loud. I rolled my eyes at the thought of Ruby dating my neighbor. We were watching as my new neighbors moved in and Ruby couldn't keep herself from hoping there was a hot guy near her age, moving in next to her best friend.
  We continued to watch as a very attractive tall teen stepped out from the car, carrying 3 moving boxes all labeled, kitchen utensils , they looked heavy, his father was struggling to carry one. He had amazing dark hair that matched with his absolutely perfect ocean blue eyes. I told myself to snap out of it, because I knew Ruby couldn't.
   Ruby smirked at the sight in front of us and I shook my head, "No, Ruby not happening!" Ruby went anyway.
  Making her way downstairs I called after her to stop but she kept going until she was outside. I followed closely behind. we stood at the edge of the driveway watching his every move, getting boxes, taking them in, coming back out, repeat.
   He finally caught us staring and chuckled to himself, he walked behind his mother whispering something and she giggled, took his box and pushed him in our direction.
   Ruby automatically went with it and walked towards him, staying on the sidewalk to hear her 3 inch heals click. Which Ruby loved.
   When he was finally standing a decent distance away Ruby began, "Hi..." She said spelled by his beauty. 
   "Hey." He said with an attractive and strong Irish accent, "I guess we're neighbors...?"
   She nodded. "Umm, no actually," I cut in, "I'm your neighbor, this is my friend, Ruby" I cleared my throat awkwardly.
  She took a step towards him and whispered very loudly, "Your really hot!" Raising her eyebrows to exaggerate more.
  He smirked, and whispered back, clearly wanting me to hear, "If only your friend thought so too."
   Ruby scoffed and backed away, seeing the clear interest he had in me...
   He got up from his position, (leaning down close to Ruby) and winked at me. I couldn't help my blushing. He slowly began walking to me until he was only inches away, and said quietly, "I think I like the thought of you as my neighbor"
  I gulped, he was soooo hot.

AN: Sorry for a short chapter, but I needed to start this book tonight and I'm tired! I'll try to update like 5 times a week, maybe once a day😘
